In my experience (a number between 50 and 100 met girls n various environment) reading facebook profile of girls, the status they declare is a good item to take in consideration.

Girls which dont fill it up and just leave :

sex: female
interested in: men

but dont fill with either single or in a relationship are a no-go, they in fact most of the cases belong to the attention ***** type wheter they are single or engaged.

The ones which are green light almost always declare themselves as single to show availability, while the ones not filling it are most of the times dating someone or in a relationship yet still hungry for attention, power to reject and various ego boosts.

The ones which declare in a relationship are usually stable and not looking for extra attention, so pay attention to this as well when giving proprity to girls.

Its not similar to our case where we leave it empty to create some mistery and dont have the backfire of being considered single (aka undesired), women dont need this thing and they decide according different reasons.

I've actually found the opposite to be true.
IME the crazy points are allocated as follows:

+2: "in a relationship", boyfriend's name is shown
+1: "in a relationship", doesn't say who
0: "single"
-1: not listed

The most stable and sane girls I know never list their relationship status, even when in LTRs, and the more of an AW she is, the more likely she is to tell the world she is dating someone

Guess the real point of this thread is that there's no point looking into this

So you believe you have better chances for action with a girl which put herself in a relationship and names her boyfriend on her profile?

I still believe the safest bet are the girls which are single and list themselves as such openly.

sageproduct is a clueless 20 year old . the OP is right by my estimation.

relationship status =hidden
sluts with suggar daddies never post relationship status. they will appear single to the world.

single
shes on for something. spit your game

in a relationship/no name mentioned
this is a tricky one. it could mean she has a fvckbuddy so all her sex needs are met

in a relationship/ with name mentioned
off limits dont waste your time

Actually, this is one case in which being 20 years old comes in my favor. Who's generation made social media what it is today, b1tches?

most girls lie on their status about being in a relationship when it has no name next to it

"In a relationship" could mean married (to XXXX), engaged (to XXXX), divorced but back with the ex (who is XXXX), and so on, but she's STILL LOOKING. Poor XXXX!

He's 28.

Facebook didn't hit the mainstream until 3 or 4 years ago though, which by then people his age were out of college and no longer in Facebook's core demographic

what's funny about your post op. is the fact that this stuff is being taking into consideration.

what makes me laugh about this ( i'm not putting you or your post down) if the fact of the Explosion of facebook. people use it like it's the new hip religion.

maybe someone should come up with some "facebook game" and go over profiles. or something.

i had a girl drop me because i gave her access to my profile. so it's a curse

They need to have more information boxes the females can check off (i.e. alcoholic, smoker, heroine addict/tweaker, coke-head, daddy issues, abandonment issues, takes it in the a**, adores Taylor Swift).

agree with this post, the fact a womans relationship status on FB is being discusssed is meaningless. FB is a curse, it caused me probs with 2 LTRS and I wasnt doing anything wrong? women assume you are up to sh!te because they know a lot of peopel on FB are up to sh?!te, especially women. my advice is to ignore the status thing. that can change in the drop of a hat
