So did I come on too strong? We've been talking around a month and just pseudo-flirting back and forth and I'm trying to be more bold and direct in my life and this is the first time I've applied it. So what, did I come on too strong (she's 17, so there's the whole 'not wanting to be a slut thing', so is she putting up a facade to see my reaction and to avoid labeling herself a slut) or is it just this particular girl not feeling me?

Never appologize, just move on. I dont think shes really feeling you tho buddy. See the flirting back and fourth for a month is bad, she probably just sees you as a friend by this point.
