A girl I know who I'm NOT friends with but I've known for some time asks if I have a myspace page. She mentions that she needs someone to add to her top ten right in front of some dude who's obviously attempting to get with her. I find it rather weird considering that we were never friendly at all to begin with. Just acquaintances. Most of the time I did know her she wasn't single but now she has been for some time. I don't know if thats a hint for me to make a move but it does sort of strike me in that manner.
Am I reading too much into things?

Well you don't really have anything to lose in this situation, especially if she is mostly just an aquantence, then if it doesn't work you aren't even losing a friend. That also is normally more than enough of a sign to try to game a girl. So I would give it a shot, but if it seems she isn't that interested and its just a coincidence she asked you, then just don't put too much effort or money(dates, hanging out) into it.
I also forgot to add that I asked her best friend out some time back. It never happened because she went for the bad boy who ended up leaving her and for some reason she still seems to like me. Would this make me look bad in any way?
If you told an acquaintance you needed to add her on your top ten myspace page in front of some girl who was obviously trying to get with you, would you think of it as a hint for her to make a move?
