I don't know why, but almost every time I go to a lecture for ONE particular subject (and this one subject only), I feel like:

- my eyelids are heavy, try to force them wide but they keep wanting to close

- almost falling asleep, then suddenly my body JOLTS and I feel refreshed for some reason (no I didn't fall asleep because I could still hear the lecturer continuing the same sentence)

But the weird thing is, at the end of the lecture when we are free to leave, I feel completely awake again.

Is there some sort of brain chemistry or something going on here, I feel like when I'm in that lecture I almost go into standby mode or something, but as soon as it ends I am back to normal again. What's going on with the almost sleeping thing?? The lecture cant be THAT boring...

haha just about evey class is like that for me. my eyelids get heavy, i get a headache, all i want to do is go home and sleep. the only thing i can do to pretty much prevent this is to kind of make fun of myself for being a ***** for being not being able to sit through one lecture. obviously things like redbull work but you dont wanna have to drink them before every class.

Yeah I feel the same way. In fact, a lot of the time I actually fall asleep (once had a dream right throughout the lecture). I dont get it, nobody around me seems to have that problem. And I usually get 7 hours sleep a night.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

You've probably incorporated that block of time during the day into your sleep schedule as 'nap time.' It's always that class because that class it at the same time of day. Get more sleep at night.

I get those heavy eyelids any time I study something boring. It is like it's supernatural: I know that I'm not supposed to be tired, and yet I can hardly keep my eyes open.

It is hard to beat.

I remember reading that Carl Jung would actually faint over his school books as a child, so he had to quit school. Then he overheard one of his father's conversations one day: the father was telling a friend that he was worried about his son's future, worried that he wouldn't get a job and be able to support himself. So young Carl went to sit down with his books, and fainted again. When he woke up he kept reading, and once again he fainted. But he kept doing it until he could stay awake.

Look dude I feel you, I failed Geology my Freshman year of college because I couldn't stay awake during the class... I even fell asleep during the test

Somewhere inside me my subconscious said "**** biology, I want to dream about hot babes and tropical islands" and no matter what I did I couldn't change its mind.

Heh, I've been reading a book on hypnosis by Bandler and Grindler and it has this story about a guy who woke up exactly 4 every morning and couldn't get back to sleep unless he ate pecans. EXACTLY 4, and it even changed time zones.

The human mind is a freaky, freaky thing. :D

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.

Yeah, maybe they really like the subject or something. Although I find that actually taking notes and remembering that 'this might be on the exam' can help you concentrate, how long... well that depends.

Maybe you have AD/HD ?
Hope not, the reassuring thing is that it is only for that one subject, and not for anything else.

Yeah I could use some more sleep than what I'm getting at the moment.

Yeah that class is fairly late in the afternoon, get out of the lecture and the sun is setting.

Exactly, like you know you're supposed to stay awake but for some reason it's hard to fight the urge to drift off. Maybe it's your subconscious telling you that a particular subject is boring and useless to you... or something.
