You know a depressing image? When you walk in a mall and see a hot young girl shopping with her mom. In 20 or so years, she'll probably look something like that. Not a very nice picture is it?

Take a look at the hottest girls in the past. Even they look ugly. Pamela Anderson was thought of as the hottest girl in the 90's, and now she looks old. Give another 10 years and she will be downright ugly.

As I look around, I see something astonishing: About 50% of girls under 25 are attractive in some sense. About 25% of girls under 30 are. But women in their 30's? Maybe 10%. In their 40's? Almost non-existent. 50's? Only if you think grannys are attractive.

They only look good young.

there is TRULY a time for all things.

- there is no shame in being poor when young. yet as an older man, you are a disgrace.

- there is no shame in being single while young. but as you age, your singleness will more than likely lead to your loneliness and isolation.

- when you are young, opportunities abound. they will one day dry up. if you will ever be wealthy or even comfortable, you must make it happen when you are young. time is ticking and there will indeed come a time when it is too late.

- same goes for finding a mate. RESOURCES DRY UP. in this case, looks, flash, muscles, etc. you must act while you can for the window will not always be open.

marriage is an INVESTMENT... very much like your 401k and/or mutual funds (you are investing right? cuz people get rich from investment... not from income. if you are/were poor, working is doldrums where you scrape up enough stake to get into the real game). if you are rich and will remain so in perpetuity, there is no point in investing (well, you can get richer).... but most people need to invest.

- having children may seem a burden but your seed and the fruit that they bear will be your joy and possibly your only connection to the vibrancy of youth when you are old.

i'll bet even the old don't relish each others company. how fun can it be when the only thing you can think when you look into someone's face is grim impending death.... the reminder of ineluctable mortality?

when you are old, you will not want to be surrounded by your peers. and the only people who will tolerate an old man hanging around will more than likely be your own family.

there is a time for all things, make sure you don't miss the scheduled departure of your boat.

and that is the unemotional, amoral, pragmatic truth about aspects of life including marriage. thank you.

If someone walked up to you and said that cars depretiate when they get older, would you say that this guy was depressed and trying to make everyone else unhappy? When did I ever say not to get a girl? I just said they only look good when they're young, which is true. If you want to wear a pair of jeans or use a computer for 50 years straight, then be my guest. I'm just saying that most people dont keep their computers for more than a few years due to depretiation. Most people don't keep the same pair of jeans for the same reason. Same with cars. Thanks for the examples, it shows my point even clearer. If you don't keep all those things, why would you keep one girl. Is it because soceity has turned you into a slave?

PEOPLE, not just WOMEN will get old and obviously lose thier looks due to age. Dont be a hypocrite with only 1 side of the argument, a woman could argue the same thing and say "oh man, guys are sooo hot when they are 20 - 30 AND they **** like machines, but when they are 50-60, good god they become impotent and uglier"
