Brothers, I'm living a life most can only dream of and imagine.

Right now I'm sitting on the back porch, the day is breezy and overcast here in Central Florida. I have both of my dogs lying next to me, a cup of steaming Ethiopian select coffee to my right (in my favorite mug which bears The Man, The Myth, The Legend), a gorgeous cameroon Smokin' 66 Gordo cigar to my left.

Bliss. This is what I envision as heaven. Heaven on this plane. Heaven as reality.

My Fiance' is out with her friends from south Florida at Legoland. Not one iota of grief that I didn't want to go. A kiss on the lips and "have a great day darling." is how she left this morning.

It's not an unrealistic goal for any man to achieve happiness at this level.

You can have it.

You have to want it.

All of the unnecessary bullsh!t in your life bogging you down? Fvck it. Let it go.

Disregard all of the negativity and ignorance of those who would see you fail. They're insignificant and only serve to keep you looking behind you.

Fvck them.

My life is pretty good right now too. Live in my own house with my own rules. I have a job that I enjoy working. I have two women I'm banging: one is young & hot, the other is attractive and fantastic in bed. There may be a third one on the line.

I've decided on a plan for when my parents die and leave me their house. I'm going to sell the dump, pay off my own house, then hire a sexy maid to do my house chores which will give me more time for my hobbies.

That is how I want my life: more time for myself, less time for work.

Living the good life. Not as much po0n as this Summer/early Fall, po0n-free for the month of October. Investments are down, but they'll come roaring back one day. Been cooking some mean diners, rollin in the dough at work - could've worked today, but was away from phone missed opportunity for easy $300. Oh well.

Po0n prospects aren't all that great but idk, that's what it's all about, patience leads to quality. I've been turning down "just a fvck" for the past few weeks, just taking it easy. Have a 38 yr old wanting to get together. I've put extra stipulations on that such as when, where, and who's paying. She hasn't answered and I don't really give a fvck. If she was under 26, I'd be more amenable to her wishes.

Karma -- mad props brother -- I do believe there are respectable women and happy relationships -- we come to SS because of our failures, but it is by failure and learning that we can ultimately be successful.

I'm glad you have good things in your life -- every man deserves this. But not every man is willing to work for it.

I have been out of commission for awhile now, working on myself, developing my business, working 9-5 at a place I once dreamed of being on the inside of...I question this route at times...being my own boss is more and more alluring...I have trouble with the "groupthink" at work....I fail to buy certain mental schemas it seems most there prefer...

I definitely have felt down and out the last few months...but my mind is on the upwards move, I've been hitting the gym harder than ever before and plan to be stronger than I've ever been physically...was a vegetarian 6+ years and am eating meat again and lifting hard...my body is responding...

Thanks for the positive post brother -- things like this help inspire me further -- those who struggle and have failed need to see that success is possible.

Congrats dude, enjoy it while it lasts.

But don't become complacent.

Not saying it will happen, but if in a few years (after you are married), she runs off with your best friend and half (or more) of your assets, just remember happiness is a journey not a destination.

Stop focusing on your goals, or let your life turn into a qurest for heaven and taking it easy, and you will be dead in for the water, unsuspecting of the torpedo she will launch at you under the waterline

I am happy that you have found nirvana. In my own little world, I'm very happy as well. My wife cooked me breakfast this AM and told me how much she loved me before I left for work. I know when I get home she'll either be wearing a dress and heels or designer jeans and heels, knowing that I will probably take her out to dinner and party a bit with some friends.

My first thought reading this is enjoy it, because usually if things get too blissful, life will come along and lay a big pile of sh!t in it. Not a disaster necessarily, but usually something to irritate or annoy you.

I don't mean that to be negative. I'm happy with my life, I tend to keep a very even keel. But the times when life is relatively problem-free and you can stop and smell the roses are fairly rare.
Karma, the best thing about your situation (if I read you correctly) is that you're not having to work right now.

Glad you guys have time to brag about your lives, Sadly please keep in mind of the rough economy that we are in right now, Europe failing. People I know near and dear to me are out of work. Educated friends that I have with school loans and can't get a job.

I have started a new position at my job which demands a good ammount of my concentration no women in my life right now....

I'm glad life is all peachy keen on your end of the fence, hopefully you remember that when others need your help...

I am trying to do my small part every day to make someoen else's life a tad easier. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

Anyways I am glad that you guys are happy....life is not so good on this side of the hood.

Actually, Brother, I just elevated to a very nice promotion at work. I work 0800-1800 Monday through Friday. My own office, an assistant, a gigantic tree in one corner, and a 400 count humidor on my cherrywood desk.

I'm not sitting around on my laurels watching grass grow. I'm busier than ever. That's the beauty of my life. No grief not rewarded every Friday in my checking and savings accounts.

Sure disruptions are going to happen in the course of my day. I have a severe ear infection I'm fighting right now. Fortunately, my woman took me to the ER at 0200 this morning to get it checked out (I'm a stubborn guy who loathes Doctor offices/Hospitals). No fuss/no muss. She stayed right by my side throughout the morning. Then she taught class all goddamned day.

Came home, checked on me, made me hot tea, and threw a blanket in the dryer to keep me warm.

Even though my body is down, my spirit is always up.

Okay, Karma, clearly I misread you. I didn't even think your post was about women, aside from the quick mention of your chill girlfriend.

I got the idea that you were not working from your profile: "Location: Padron Reserve maduro in hand while finishing my book: MANtality." It was very similar to your post about relaxing on the porch in the tropical breezes smoking a cigar. It sounded like you were taking time off to finish your book.
