That's what I thought for a long time too, but like I said earlier, some will withdraw because of fear. The one I was talking about, was falling hard and I think she felt she was losing control. Some people give up when they see that there is no way they will have total control.
In the end, who gives a fvck why or how? If she's not contacting you anymore, so be it.
I always say in my mind "Her loss..." and do what I was doing before.

This is just an agree to disagree situation, and I may very well be too cynical for my own good. I just have an easier time believing that us men will come up with the most creative excuses for a woman's behaviour than a woman leaving you because she... wuvs you too much?

It's not making excuses for them. It's simply that they don't even know why they do most of the sh!t they do and we are trying to make sense of it with logic. Doesn't matter if she left out of fear or if there's another guy in the picture. When she comes back, they always do, deal with her then according to what you want out of it at that moment.
