Ok, so it's time we go sleep, as I have to get home early the next day... and she starts pillow talkin. So she started saying how much she loves me... and how I've got all these good qualities.

I'm so manly, positive, handsome, strong, energetic, romantic, passionate, kind, NICE... bla bla bla.

She called me nice. And from there on, she proceeded to name AFC qualities. Well, after e few more adjectives I told her to sleep, while I went out for a cigarette.

Actually, I went out to hyperventilate. (And then smoke)...

... this can't be good, right? I'm probably being a paraniod ass again... but yeesh. I havn't been called "nice" in a long time now. :-/

dude, you are reading too much into it. She obviously really likes you, and wanted you to know it. Maybe she didn't know that the word "nice" will make you hyperventilate!

stop being so parenoid! she obviously cares about you and wants you to KNOW that she does!

Seriouslly.....chill out man! God....its amazing the extremes some people take this ****. Being a nice guy doesnt make you an AFC. Being nice and letting a girl walk all over you so she doesnt get her feet dirty is an AFC.

You are so scared of being called an AFC its disturbing. This girl really likes you. Just accept her compliments. If its always after sex you must be good in bed. Take these as compliments and a confidence boost. Not to get all worked up on.

Actually, I get the same kind of pillow talk as you from my girlfriend. This site does dramatise the negativity of being nice, but the only time it's negative is if it's preceded by "too" or followed by "but".

I.e.
"You're too nice" = I don't see you sexually.
"You're nice, but..." = you're a nice person, but I'm not attracted to you.
"You're handsome, smart, strong and nice etc" = I'm sexually and emotionally attracted to you.
