A prison guard is not the same as a senior policy adviser, which is what the guy in the OP was. The guy in your OP had a position that takes hob-nobbing to reach. And a prison guard is definitely not making over six figures. So why are you trying to compare the two? Of course jails will hire shady dudes to be prison guards. I fully expect them to hire tough guys with rough backgrounds to deal with the dregs of society.

This all said, that is still NOT proof of affirmative action and that huffington post article you just linked says nothing about that. Actually its proof of a prison system lowering its standards for corrections officers because of having a dwindling applicant pool. Talk to some security guards or cops..I've heard quite a few mention not wanting to deal with prisoners all day. Do you know how hard it can be to find people willing to do what a correction officer does, dealing with what some of them deal with day-in and day-out, for an average income of around $45k? (click the underlined for stats)

Anyways, I repeat for the umpteenth time, there is no way in hell that people in power are going to let affirmative action force them to hire a minority or a woman to an power position with a high salary if that person has a poor employment record and a criminal history.

When I was a teenager, my mom had my brother and I take civil servant exams as a backup if we were ever out of work and needed a decent job. Before I went to college, I got a letter for an interview as a clerical worker in a local correctional facility. I even said "fvck that" as a youngster, because I didnt wanna go to work in a jail every day. Sure I wouldn't be dealing with inmates...but I just didnt wanna be in that environment, and be a cog in that system.

Anyways, I repeat for the umpteenth time, there is no way in hell that people in power are going to let affirmative action force them to hire a minority or a woman to an power position with a high salary if that person has a poor employment record and a criminal history
It happens all the time.

"For example, Paul Pitts served 14 years in prison for murder, where he converted to Islam and became Imam Abdu-Shahid. He was paroled in 2001 and hired as a prison chaplain in 2007 with an annual salary of $49,471. In Feb 2010, he was caught trying to bring scissors and razor blades into the Manhattan Detention Complex.

A New York City corrections department source told the New York Post: “It’s a disgrace that taxpayers are funding Muslim chaplains who not only have criminal records, but also are promoting violence.”

Abdu-Shahid’s boss – head chaplain Umar Abdul-Jalil – was hired at an annual salary of $76, 602 even though he served 14 years for dealing drugs. In 2006, he was suspended for two weeks without pay after declaring that “the greatest terrorists in the world occupy the White House.” He continues to oversee 40 prison chaplains."

Cause affirmative action a 'diversity'.

Because a chaplain is the same as a senior policy adviser who has true clout, power, and a 6 figure salary to boot? Again, we are talking about a prison system desperate for employees. Nothing to do with affirmative action, and everything to do with desperately trying to find people to fill roles when they have a small applicant pool.

How are you proving me wrong? Stop trying to compare jobs that arent at all similar. Find me a true example of someone reaching the ranks similar to a senior policy adviser with a similar 6 figure salary. Prove that any of these hires are affirmative action hires.

All your OP and following links have shone a light on, is how crappy hiring practices are in the prison system. Not that there's a widespread national problem in various industries with hiring ex-cons to positions of power and high salaries because of affirmative action.

We should just not fight about this because black and white are both humans. I really make racist comments a gaylan because it bothers him/her so much. Its cute you guys think im a white supremacist, because im not at all.

I've been living among blacks on and off for the last year. A lot of them like me because even though I'm very different than them in many ways, we tend to get along really well.

You guys literally have no idea about my whole story and probably wont. A few people here know quite a bit.

Gaylan let me make a guess here. If you are a male, the reason you are they way you are is because you were obese/ fat all your life and other guys picked on you all the time. You felt rejected by other men, which is why you identify with gays and women so much, and defend them so much.

Am I close?

i figured out quite a while ago that the mods are lock step in line with the website's "message". This website is basically stormfront jr. Which is quite sad. The MM section isn't as bad but the rest of the forum is pretty pathetic.
So let me get this straight. OP makes a post about a convicted criminal who was reinstated to a high-level government position despite having a history of gang membership, criminal convictions, and lying on job applications. OP's conclusion is that the guy was hired for reasons that are unrelated to his competency and qualifications. Is it really a stretch to conclude that the guy is an "affirmative action hire" considering that affirmative action hiring is well-known, widespread problem in America? (look at Eric Holder for example).

All of a sudden, all these afro-trolls come out of the woodwork and attack the OP for being "racist" and moderators for being sympathetic to racists. Meanwhile, Gaylan is given free rein to spew anti-white hatred in his numerous race-baiting threads, and brokebacker's downright bizarre passive-aggressive racist musings don't get sanctioned either. The fact that those people are tolerated on sosuave is ample evidence of the fact that this site is anything but "stormfront jr".

There was another hypersensitive homo BeDJ
had a meltdown and said he's going away
asked the mods to delete his posts
but created a new account and was back the next day :p

This isn't the only forum to discuss dating from a men's perspective. Thats the good part. I've said it before... I don't see this same crap on other seduction forums. This crap happens often on sites that are crawling with dudes drowning in manosphere teachings.

You won't find all this racial and political stuff on RSD forums or the PUA forums for example. This place used to mostly be about seduction and enjoying women....but now it's an endless b!tch fest about race, politics, feminism, and female sexuality.

Weird how this forum became what it is now. Even when I joined a few years ago it wasn't this bad. And if you spend time reading threads older than that, you're left really wondering what the hell happened and why many veterans abandoned this place.
So why don't you join the "veterans" and fvck off to "other seduction forums" already? No one is forcing you to be on this board, you whiny little b!tch.

Exactly, there's little proof that the guy in question got jobs at Child and Family Services and then the corrections department and his job being protected by an arbitrator because he "had personal connections". It instead looks like an entire system that hires, promotes and protects incompetent employees like Affirmative Action does.

And the EEOC does direct employers that considering a candidate's criminal history can have a 'disparate impact' on African Americans and hispanics. If EEOC claims there's a disparate impact in an employer's hiring process they can and do threaten a law suit forcing the employer to hire the 'right' number of members of the protected group. Almost never is anyone going to report AA employees' criminal and past work history. Does anyone think they don't hire, retain and promote ones with criminal records over more qualified employees?
