Affirmations

I'm taking this thread very seriously at this time.

However, the list of affirmations is quite tedious to be repeating ALL of 98% of the lines on a day to day repeititve basis.

I've noticed some phenomina - some of these lines tend to stick out more than others. When I've repeated these lines, these following statements have stood out above the others.

* I make no excuses for myself as a man, and I'm INNOSCENT, not guilty.

* I make no excuses for my desire as a man.

These two affirmations seem to carry the most amount of weight in this time being compared to all the other affirmations.

So, I may just repeat these two for now and then repeat the affirmations over again to see what happens.

Thats what Im currently using, of couse al lof those are linked to something specific in my mind, for example when I use those I think about how Im the main character in my life, and how I can easily influence people around me though its not written there I already made that association in my mind

- I can deal with any test a woman throws at me… in fact, it’s usually kind of cute.

- My body is masculine, strong, flexible and athletic
- I’m persistent and calm.
- I focus on sticking to habits - I base my success on whether I showed up and did what I was supposed to do, not on whether I got a result or not.

- I’m talented – I figure things out pretty fast

I always felt like I understood the concepts of this site but rarely acted on them. However, rereading this old thread has convinced me to drop out of football next year. I don't enjoy it. I did it because I was pressured to by everyone I know, family, friends and all. I'm not a pushover anymore and I don't have to pretend I enjoy that stupid f*cking sport and everything involved. I'm a freshman, my older bro graduated last year and was a beast...huge, linebacker, captain of varsity for 3 years. I'm not huge. I'm athletic, and I play baseball instead of football. This doesn't mean I'll be lazy, either. I like weightlifting, I'll continue to do that. I want to get a guitar and take lessons. Looks like I'll have all summer and fall to do that. Thanks guys. My brother will call me a faggot. I know I'm better than him.

I want to tell you a secret I discovered recently.

Looking through documents from '04 for fun, I found some of my brother's old stuff. School stuff, I figured there might be some good sh*t there for me for later on. I noticed some oddly named documents.

The bastard kept a motherf*ckin' journal of experiences with an ex of his (written in retrospect). I didn't read the whole thing; here's the start for you though:

As a start just a reminder that you didn’t keep track of all the stuff that happened with her so this is obviously an incomplete list of dates and other things. For a better look at what went on from day to day, see the journal, which is dated and may give a good reference as to what was going on at the time.

This was from a short word document with only a couple stupid dated "memories." The intro suggests he kept a full-length day to day journal that must've been kept off the pc.

There were plenty more documents. A pathetic letter he left at her door with her stuff. Saved IM conversations/emails and such from when they were together. Even similar things with his current gf/oneitis of years. He talks about how hurt he is/was, about crying. It's painful. It's sickening. But it's hilarious.

This is from a guy a lot of people take a look at and think he's all that. That he's on top. On the inside, he's pathetic.

I'm better than him.
