AFC Observations

Id like to think my AFC days are behind me, anyways since coming across that term, I started to notice others at my school around campus displaying such acts. Here are my favourites:

1) Nerdy looking guy with a huge grin on his face, walking a girl home (thinking he has a chance) Girl : My books are so heavy in my bag...
AFC: Let me carry them for you

2) some first year guy (huge stereotypical skinny nerd) talking to a girl in the line up for food. He must live in the same dorm as her, they talk about some show on tv that night, the guy asks her to watch the show in the common room, (good for him) he makes more small talk (not bad) but ruins it with the high five goodbye...walks away...says to his creepy 3rd wheel buddy ("Man I Love this school...) poor guy doesnt know whats coming lol. Already in the friendzone.

how in the H** is a "high five" blowing it? kissing on the first date isn't necessary.

By giving a girl a highfive instead of a hug after first contact, I think thats setting yourself up for the friendzone right away. friends high five, potential partners at least hug.

So you're saying something as trivial as a handshake can make or break a relationship?

No, that sounds like overanalyzing to me. Ever read Senor Fingers' post, Shattering the Limits? He acted like a total AFC at times in this one experiment, giving out compliments, using AFC lines, etc. and still managed to get the girl.

If all your game is smalltalk, and then your close is a High-Five, your are shooting yourself in the foot.

But if your game is pure attraction based, with good kino, and ending it with a good high five is not bad at all.

exactly, he looked like a warcraft nerd, had a creepy friend watching him talk to the girl, it was all small talk, with an awkward high five at the end, if you saw it, youd definately agree it was an AFC. Point is I notice AFC moves now that Im aware of what they are.

lol NEVER have a creepy friend watch you and your girl talking I was in that situation once, and I could see her being so uncomfortable.

And I wish I knew, at the very least, what is straight up AFC behavior, when I was in high school.. I wasted so many years being a total AFC.. but better late than never... at least I know what I'm doing now

ive had girls hi five me at the end of our conversation and i usually gently hold on to her hand..dont let it go..lol..n i run my fingers on my knuckles while holdin her attention with my conversation...kino? i dunno..it seems to work ok..
