I tried aderrall one night and I went to the library and read Shakespeare's Othello in one sitting, without lifting my head from the book, and then wrote an 8 page paper. It was really weird, I've never been able to get that much work done in such a short amount of time.
Whats aderrall?

I have this same problem, and I don't know why. Lately I've been trying to talk, but it comes out all jumbled and mumbled and confused. Meanwhile in my head, I'm a genius, and everything makes sense... I just can't put it to use. Some of you may notice I can't even type out real sentences anymore, I just use phrases followed by "..."
That is exactly what the problem is. You explained it better than me.

How am I supposed to talk to a girl if I talk like this!?!?

I noticed that as I got older I had a problem paying attention and sitting down to do homework, but it was never noticed by my parents or teachers because I was naturally sort of smart so I got decent grades without doing much at all. Now I'm in college and I still can't concentrate. This ADD or whatever I may have or not have or imagine in my head also keeps me from doing other things... working, lifting weights, etc.. I just lose interest really fast. Is it that difficult to get maybe a trial dose of ADD medication from a doctor to try for a while, and see if maybe my grades in school pickup a bit? I can't try and explain this 'problem' to anyone without them laughing and saying everyone has ADD, deal with it, or something along those lines..
same here. Add procrastination to the equation N I start failing. I don't have ADD though, just self control problems.

aderrall is pretty much just like ritalin.. given to kids with ADD to help them concentrate. It gives me the ability to focus on one thing well without losing interest and slacking off

I would like to try one of those medications.

One of my freinds took it just to see what is its affects. He doesnt have ADD.

He told me that you would focus on one thing and one thing only. You like zone out on whatever you are focusing on and for him sometimes he would be concentrating on something so much that when he freind said "hey!" it was like blocked out until he told him to snap out of it.

If people take ritalin will it make them act smarter in front of people or just more focused on everything, perhaps TOO focused?

a friend of mine went to a doctor for his "ADD" and one of the questions they ask is if theres anything in your life that you can TOTALLY focus on, and forget everything else going on. For him and me it is video games... I can play counterstrike for hours on end and put myself into my own little world

anyways, any kind of doctor figures on the board have anything to recommend?

Ive seen it on TV. I wonder if it works.

I think Ill try it.

I wish there could be a way to anchor that feeling I get with focus facor so then if it really works, I wouldnt want to be taking it all the time.
