Act of God??? Very STRANGE Situation here and I need help

So I found this site with like a month left in HS and looking back on my HS career I see a LOT of missed opportunities and other things. I started college this week and I swore to myself that I would not miss all the opportunities that I did in HS. So I think it was Tues or Weds I found out that a girl I liked from HS goes to the same college.

So I was sitting on a bench and she came up beside me and literally moved me to the side and sat beside me lol. We talked for awhile, got some laughs, did a little kino. (The best part of it was I was just doing it and not thinking about it at all ) But this is where I failed. She had to go to class and I should have # closed right then and there but I didn't. I slapped myself later for it lol.

Fast forward to today a buddy texted me from work asking me something. So I texted him the answer, and I'll say about 5 min after that I get a text saying "who is this". Me thinking its just a friend playing a joke I just mimic them.

Person: who is this
Me: who is this?
Person: you texted me
Me:ummm you texted me lol
Person: XXXXXXX now who is this lol (They said their name and this where I was at a loss for words)

It was the girl and I have no clue how it happened . How should I respond to this? If I don't tell her its me when I actually get her # she'll realize that it was me in the first place and think something weird is going on. I really don't know how to respond to this any insight guys?

Why not keep a cool head and just game her like you PLANNED for her to text you....

Respond as if it was no big deal....

Play it like you have tons of chicks texting you all the time...

Don't ask how she did it .....

She'll blab it all out eventually with out you even asking.....

Just have fun with her and stop making unimportant things out to be so important.....

Simple solution: Call the number you texted. If SHE answers ask how she got your number. (or you hear her voice on her voicemail).

If it's a guys voice you know it's a joke as you may've told someone about her.

If she is the one who texted you first, this is a golden opp and you have nothing to worry about.

Simply say "wow this is FDJM, how did you get my number?! Are you stalking me?!"

My guess is she had your number from before, and simply is doing this to break the ice and talk to you, or somehow she got it from your friend whom you texted right before she texted you and she's just being sneaky about it.


Or...like the poster above said, this could be a joke pulled by one of your friends.

It happened to me a few times that we were at a party or at a club ...i had a good time with a girl then i left without saying anything ... after 2 days the phone rings...

-Hi! Whats the matter?
-You are coming home from school with .... train, right?

...and im thinking WTF was this???
