Also, having some acne is good. It gets rid of the baby-face a lot of guys with no acne have. Girls don't mind a somewhat rugged face, as long as it's within the usual bounds.

I've still got spots of redness and scars from way back, but I wear them with a certain sense of pride. There's a big difference in the mindset of being ashamed of them and being proud of them.

What do you guy's think women think of acne scars?

Ive got some mild scarring which when I was younger really affected me. As I'm getting older, I think that women dont seem that bothered by scarring.

I know some fit as f*** women dating scarred men. Think it all comes down to confidence.

The scarring goes down after a while, especially if you get a tan

I have been taking accutane 80mg a day... and I have had excellent results. The only thing I can recommend is never miss a dose while on it. I did start to loose some hair, and I'l have to work on that now... This medicine was prescribed to be after using several meathods and self medication. I think it would have been so much better if I had used it a couple years ago.

I have to disagree.

No acne is good.

In clubs your ok, but outdoors and under bright lights or outdoors, YOU WILL LOOK BAD as it stands out so much.

Of course you can get girls with acne, some wont care, BUT some will! It minimises your chances which we dont want.

I have heared girls talk about a guy saying, "o he has lovely skin".

Like being skinny, acne must be killed!

Get down the derm NOW and get on Roaccutane.

People are nasty, when they see acne they instantly think DIRTY, and doesn't take care of ones self, UNHEALTHY even.

Clean skin says the oposite.

I got acne myself, but lets not kid ourselves....

It does bring my self-confidance down some(ya I know, alittle insecure about it, cus I find it so anoying) but I went and saw a dermatologist about a month ago and she gave me some 6% bp and this oral anti biotic thing. I kinda havn't' been takin the oral part, because my families chiropracter says it f***'s your immune system up. Anyone have suggestions on if I should keep takin the oral part or not?

Oh ya, and I havn't really had alot of problems with girls being bothered with it (as far as I know)

Take it. Acne is often caused by bacteria cloggin up your pores. The topical cream kills the bacteria from the outside, the antibiotic from within. If it REALLY screwed up insides, they'd monitor you.

Which antibiotic you on? Mynocin? Minocycline? Tricyclene? Accutane? Doxycycline? I've been on most. And I'm still alive.

Anti-biotic does fvck your body up, no doubt about it :).
However, the damage caused by it is usually worth the gain derived from it.

Oh yeah, stop taking advice from your chiropractor. He's a fvcking chiropractor, NOT a doctor! The last time I let my mom take advice from a chiropractor I was sick for 3 years because the bastard didn't know what the fvck he was talking about.

forget about taking anti-biotics. first off they just dont ****en work for acne. second even if by some micracle they do work you, it will not last since your body will become resistant to it fairly quickly.
third they really mess with your stomach and digestive system in general. if you got a sh1tty doctor who doesnt know when to stop prescribing you could have digestive problems for life.

last time i went to a derm, he wanted to give me some antibiotic sh1t that was meant to be used for strep throat(!!). i told him where he can shove it and made him give me a prescription for duac and differin.

I've got huge acne and my face is still a babyface, a really fat ugly baby.

Why exactly is it a turnoff with girls? I think stupidity and shallowness is more of a turnoff... then comes fat.... then comes... beliefs and hobbies... then comes acne. Who really cares about that anyway? Inner beauty!

Even so, yeah, we are all very sensitive about acne. I honestly want perfect flawless skin... but that doesn't stop me from popping zits like a machine. All I know is that if you pop them while they're white, they won't fester beneath the skin and turn yellow and get hard so it never comes out and it's a ***** to pop.

I already saw acne.org, don't automatically assume it'll work for everyone just because it works for this one guy, I tried benzol peroxide... and I want a permanent solution.

Start studying.
Every zit you pop will generate more zits. It may cause them to disappear or turn into red spots, but they WILL come back if you keep on doing that.
I've been taught by my mom to pop every zit on sight. I did this for years and it only got worse and worse, until the moment I stopped. I've got almost no zits now and the scarring is there, but hardly visible.
You can pop zits that have turned "ripe". These are the easiest zits to extract, they're the big whiteheads most of the time. I usually pop them, then clean it up with alcohol to avoid infecting other areas. Read up on the cause and the prevention of zits, it'll make a lot of the patterns you may be experiencing a lot clearer.
