If you starve yourself, you're metabolism is gonna crash and you're gonna go catabolic. Essentially your fat burner capabilities will shut down, and you'll start losing muscle instead. It's the bodys natural way of coping with starvation. It stores fat when it thinks going to need it, and burns fat when it doesn't. At the same time, when it's starving, your body will burn muscle as fuel because it's the least efficient to maintain.
Best way to lose fat in several weeks(5-8) is to:
1. Get plenty of sleep(8-9hrs a night)
2. Drink 2L of straight water a day.
3. Eat a good amount of lean meats(chicken, fish, etc)
4. Eat truckloads of vegetables, seriously. Eat your meat portion, and then fill the tank on veggies.
5. Drink plenty of green tea.
6. Invest in a fat burner
7. Do 45-60 minutes of cardio a morning(3x as effective as in the afternoon). Aim for 350 calories per session. That will equal AT LEAST 1lb of pure fat per week, just from cardio. If it's just a layer of fat covering the abs, give it two months before you're totally satisfied.
8. Keep working out
9. No eating 4-6 hours before bed. period.
10. No drinking. Period. It's akin to a speedbump in the road to success.
11. The usuals(no fast food, blah blah blah)
12. Almost forgot, take 10ml of omega3 fish oils a day(thats about 6 capsuls)
