I was at Abercrombie yesterday and the girls working there are always totally hot. There were like 2 blondes (and I'm not normally into blondes) that were gorgeous. One was putting up a display, and was trying to reach this high beanie to put on the display, and was struggling, and for fun, I just went up to her, looked her deep in the eyes and asked her if she needed some help getting that, and she was totally stumbling all over her words. So funny to see. Then I asked her about a price, the whole time looking at her in the eyes, and she held eye contact the whole time, like some trance. It's amusing that you can be saying anything to a girl but if your eye contact is bad, there is a different effect on the girl.

Anyways, Abercrombie is a great place to find hot girls, if you're looking. It also has the coolest clothes on the planet. I shop there almost exclusively now.

Girls there = Hot , buy paid to flirt

Clothes = I could find the same ones at the Good Will or in a dumpster (worn and tattered) for practically nothing

]AF is preppy wannabe mr harvd **** for kids who didn't get the whole skater hip hop thing or are just plain insercure with buying a certain brand, but yeah, you can't pay me enough to wear that hoto sh*t. Polo, Tommy, Daniel Cremiux, Liz Claiborne, Mark Ecko etc etc, ....much better ways to spend your money IMO

I actually work at Abercrombie and Fitch where I live and yeah there are alot of hot chicks in that work their with me. Lucky for me I get to date all of them :D. The funny thing is since we work at a public place a lot of men do approach the female employee's so you should def. stand out. Oh and girls here liked to be asked questions like, "What do you think will go along with this shirt?" or something in that nature.

I tend to see it differently, although there certainly is that perception. I mean who cares anyways, they're hot, so use them as social proof. :)

And I know it seems like you can get the same clothes from some used clothing store, but you actually can't. Their shirts and stuff are actually very soft and comfortable, unlike some of the stiff material that they use at other places.

A&F is the gayest store I have ever seen. Every item of clothing they sell there looks to be aimed towards homosexual men. And I'm saying that in all honesty. Why the hell do I want to wear jeans that are torn up and have random brown patches on them?? Or cargo pants with pockets that could hold a basketball?? And the shirts... dear Lord. What the hell is the Abercrombie Lacross Team?? There is no such thing!! Why the ell does anyone want to wear a shirt advertizing a make believe sports team?!

But yes, to stop ranting, the girls that work there are hot.

Mr_Pink, I'm glad we both agree on at least one thing. My future wife is in those stores :)

I agree that the whole "Abercrombie sports" stuff is sort of lame, and if you wear them to play sports, it makes you look like some wannabe prettyboy athlete, but you don't have to buy those kinds, they have shirts that aren't like that.

However, I think it can be attractive though if you do wear those and you're actually very good at a sport. I remember playing sports in Abercrombie clothes (not the sports t-shirts though), because it was some spontaneous "let's play" thing with this girl, so I had no choice but to play in whatever I was dressed in, and she was looking at me like she wanted me the whole time. I'm pretty athletic and have been playing sports competitively for all my life, so I'm no slouch when it comes to athletics. This is the only situation where I'd recommend it.

Also, there's a certain attitude that goes well with Abercrombie, so if you take some dork and put him in Abercrombie, he looks like a fish out of water. I think that's what most people either like or dislike about their stuff.

What men have to realize is that of course the hot girl @ A&F is gonna flirt for you. She's getting PAID to do it. The more she flirts, the more you buy clothes, like some chump, and the more hours she gets. If she was interested in you, she'd offer you her number. She doesn't like you, she wants you to buy clothes.

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.

I doubt those girls are on commision...

Your other point - wtf? The girls on your planet might offer their numbers, but here on Earth one normally has to ask for it except in very rare circumstances.

I don't give a dog's dodo pie about flirting with girls at A&F or about them getting paid to do it. A&F If it fit's your particular style you might also want to walk into STRUCTURE a.k.a 'express for men'. The clothes at Express aren't as expensive yet good quality. Especially the sweaters... structure was on a roll for like 4 years with fantastic and stylish sweaters. Again, If it fits and suits your appearance. Go For It!

Ever see those people with the same Abercrombie shirt in 30 different colors? Abercrombie is just a suburban thing right now just like Tommy, CK, and Guess were years ago. It's a style for people who don't have their own style. If I like an Abercrombie shirt I'll buy it, but never because of the letters across the chest or because hot girls work there.

Just my two pesos.

I worked at Express for a while...we weren't on commission, but those who sell the most get the most hours. The first thing you learned there was to kiss the customer's butt. The more you can sell them, the more money you walk home with at the end of the week. I'm not saying that the girls @ A&F might not be flirting with you, I'm just saying don't get your hopes up. They're paid to be nice to you. The entire reason they're there is to get you to walk in and buy stuff....when was the last time you saw some plain vanilla chick working @ A&F?

I too dislike Abercrombie's target audience (freckley pale surfer dudes with raggedy hair) and most of their clothes (they have nice jeans tho)

I also dont like polo or hillfiger (too colorful for my taste)

and yes, they get paid to flirt..but you should throw them off by saying "Are you just flirting with me to make a sale? or do you want to give me your phone number?"

Really? Sounds like a kind of job I wouldn't mind doing part-time. And this is true, ever wonder why the cashier ALWAYS asks if you were helped by anyone and what thier name was? I think it's the impressionable person who will feel good enough about this to want and buy more clothes.

Mr. Latte, I doubt it but, do you know if there is any way to have the store contact the place where they get thier clothes and make a personal order for you? ( of course it would be more $) Like I got some stuff from Structure ( while it was still around ) I want again. Remember the X cargo pants?

I wasn't there when the cargo pants were out...but as far as I know, once they're gone, unless we re-release them, they're gone.

I have a few shirts and pairs of pants from there (we were required to wear them), and I think you'd be FAR better off buying somewhere else. The quality just wasn't up to the price. You're better off spending a bit more and going to Banana Republic or something. Even my manager used to say "when I want khakis, I go to Banana"
