I believe Idea #1 has more merit than Idea #2. In 2011-12, the Packers were 15-1 in the regular season, winning 94% of their regular games. There were 3 other teams that went 13-3 in the 2011-12, winning 81% of their games. It would look like the Packers were the best team that season. Some of this depends on strength of schedule though.

In January 2012, the 15-1 Packers lost an earlier round playoff game at home to the 9-7 New York Giants. That was a statistically improbable outcome. There's a good argument that the team didn't recover well from that, including Rodgers. Two years later, they won just over 50% of their games. I didn't watch that Giants-Packers game so I don't know how poorly Rodgers performed.

2020-21 was another season when the Packers had the best record in the NFC and failed to go to the Super Bowl.

Not so sure. Women are usually the one to initiate the divorce, they're usually the ones who become dissatisfied with the marriage.
One advantage to having the wife at that age is it clears his mind of having to deal with that stuff, while he goes off and works on his craft and greatness. Of course, it helps to have the millions of dollars to support the family.
