if you are new to this....

and you arent a big on Caffiene.

you may want to go with decaf..because some of those drinks have 150 mg to 350 mg of caffiene...that could massively rev up aniexty.

I remember about a yr ago..when I was going on a date with someone I had a high IL in..I took some energy pills with caffiene and it made my freaking hands sweat from being nervous.

I see that so many guys do the coffee thing.

so just thought Id at that.....

i give bad advice? but

I personally wouldnt worry too much, apart from the odd sticking my finger up her bum or groping her tits in a que at the bank or somewhere else in public to embarrass her I dont really see the big attraction with PDA. Its more of a chick trait of unoriginal exhibitionism anyway.

but thats good advice? interesting

Instead of coffee take her out for hot chocolate. Chocolate releases the same endorphins as being "in love" - so to speak. If anyone uses SS you can see how this can be to your advantage.

add alcohal to it too......

anytime u get 2 or 3 drinks in her its a good thing.

"the more she drinks the better u look"

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

welcome to my world
actually, this is a great tip, especially for newbies.

coffee/caffeine does make you jittery. although it also depends on how often you drink coffee and are used to caffeine.

but in general, good thought, because if you are still somewhat nervous when it comes to the general interactions, you should keep this in mind, definitely.

Chocolate has caffeine in it too, so if someone wants decaf instead of regular on a 'coffee date' so to speak, better stay away from chocolate too.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Believe it or not I actually got what Friv was trying to say.

I just wanted to add that you don't actually have to drink your coffee.

The whole point of a coffee date is to get to know the chick and that it’s cheap.

If your sucking down that much coffee to where you got the jitters then you got too much and the date must not going to well.

No one says you have to finish your cup. Just order something small and nothing fancy. Should cost you like a buck and half for a small regular cup.

Also there are a lot of other things to get as well.

Just because you are going to a coffee shop doesn't mean that you need to drink coffee.

Remember what the purpose of the date?! to make her like you even more! Order what ever you want.

Personally I hate drinking cofee on a date. Its an accelerator for everything, do you really want to risk run to the bathroom for a number 2 during the date? Or have a really bad coffee breath??!

I hate coffee dates. I've done 'em, but they weren't so great. You can just as easily say "Hey, let's go grab some ice cream." No jitters, no coffee - that is, if you aren't a coffee drinker.

I definitely know what friv is talking about, though, because I already tend to be very energetic, and coffee just brings out the inner ADD child in me - sweaty, hyper, fidgety, talking 2700 mph, 30 second attention span - I save the caffeine trips for those all night study sessions. I like to be relaxed with a girl.

My regular drink at my favorite coffee house is a root beer float. No, my favorite shop definitely ain't Starbucks.

Here's a hint guys; make an impression on a woman, meet her at an independently own, non-chain shop. She'll be impressed.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

the opposite of me :)

Thanks, but anyone with a working penis and an ounce of self respect is the "opposite" of you.

Should I feel flattered its taken you this long to finally quote something I said and think youve finally got some "bad advice" on me in your chick mind or what?

I personally wouldnt worry too much, apart from the odd sticking my finger up her bum or groping her tits in a que at the bank or somewhere else in public to embarrass her I dont really see the big attraction with PDA. Its more of a chick trait of unoriginal exhibitionism anyway.
It wasnt really "advice" though was it douche. I've no doubt that a girl like you would be shocked at the thought of embarrassing your chick in public, but alot of us dont feel the need to hand ourselves into the police station for sexual harrassment if we accidently brush our girlfriends arm. Its one of the perks of having a c@ck, go check it out.

And besides taking random STATEMENTS (note the lack of the word advice) from an unrelated thread I posted in wouldnt your time be better spent crying with your girlfriend?

coffee+cigarettes can tremendously increase anxiety, not to mention give you the shyts, which is why i tremendously despise in any given situation.

drink iced tea instead, or hot chocalate. theres tons of non caffeine products.
