And don't beat yourself up thinking that you killed your relationship by throwing your "hissy fit." It's not ideal behaviour obviously, but you can't kill something that's already dead. It appears all you did was hand her an "out" on a silver platter and she took it and ran.

If anything you actually saved yourself 6 months of pain and anguish repeating this pattern over and over...
