A question about the world's greatest PUA

Just because Mystery is famous for teaching people how to pick up women doesn't mean he's the best at it. That's like saying Will Smith is the best actor in the world just because he's one of the highest paid. But I've seen some absolutely amazing actors that are nowhere near famous.

Believe it or not there are plenty of men who can pick up women insanely well, who don't use aliases or belong to some forum or mastermind pick-up group.

Like I said, guys like Mystery have established themselves as experts because they do this for a LIVING. Can he pull more chicks than me in the club scene in LA? Probably. Can I get laid by equally hot girls in my own neighborhood with less effort? I think so. I don't have to wear any ridiculous flair either.

This isn't a race. The only guys that are actually competing are the "gurus" who think they have something to prove, but the only data they have to compare is their own.

I know a couple guys who could give Mystery a run for his money and they are not famous/rich or anything

Mystery is 35 now.. he is slowing down.. even after 10 years into the game, he is still ranked number 1 PUA.. so obviously he deserves some credit for that.

He dated #55 on the FHM magazine's top 100 supermodels.

Keeping in consideration that he was a simple ordinary guy without any celeb fame at that time, i'd say the case is closed.

Wow you still don't get it. He's ranked #1 among self-proclaimed PUA's that actually care about submitting "stats" about the women they pick up.

And how does dating a supermodel make you a good PUA? Do you think her extra hot body changes her response patterns from any other women? Hue Hefner's dated many supermodels. How come he isn't #1? Because he refuses to compete in a stupid underground penis showing game? Maybe.

I don't really care if he is #1 or if he isn't. I am plenty happy with just learning his method, making it my own, then just having fun.

It is silly in my opinion to argue over if he really is the best. I know i put it in the title of this post but it doesn't really matter.

I started to read his book and im finding it interesting so hopefully i will finish it by tommorow

If you know more about ranking puas than this website than you can argue against the fact that mistery is ranked the number one pua at this moment....and if you are going to say that there are better than mistery at picking up women at this moment then mention the name of the guy so your argument would gain some credibility and we won't think that you are just talking feces.

Mystery, Style, AFC Adam, and most of the other names on the list you mention are friends of mine ('cept that guy in last place, #10, of course - he's no pickup artist!) and good guys at that...

But I don't believe than anyone amongst us considers it significant how well 'ranked' we are according to outside estimation.

Everyone can learn something from anyone - although most often, what they will learn is what NOT to emulate!

He just put it to a workable method......I am a fan of mysterys and I adore his show........but He aint the best.

Most famous YES, most dedicated.......YES, instructed the most students.......YOU BETCHA, the best at picking up women..........hmmmm not sure about that at all.

Riddle me this, why do so many pua guys charge so much for their class's and seminars? don't they realize that a lot of afc's can't afford this? you would think, most of them being former afc's would recogize this and do it for the love of the game and not money

I agree with you on that.

He does use some magic/illusion gimmicks for building attraction, he also tends to use some of his celeb status, which he should, but all of this counts against him when it comes to ranking.

I agree that Style and AFC Adam and even some of the other people in the community may have equal or better skills at the moment. So best PUA title might fluctuate...

But he was the first to come up with this method, he had NO other seduction method at that time to refer to, and all these other PUAs are using their own version of the MM, and during his absolute prime, Mystery was the only guy with this level of game, and since he is the main inventor/father of pickup, he should be called the world's greatest...if not the world's best PUA.
