IMO, success in high school and even college is more determined by your parents rather than you. A lot of these kids come from very sheltered and wealthy enough families. The partying and all of that is really in the nice suburban schools since no one wants to go to the ones in the hood for that.

College doesn't make people successful by itself. Of all my friends, I'm the only one who made it. I was making it before I even graduated. A billionaire once said during an interview, if you can't make it without a degree, college won't help. If you can, a degree will propel you further.

As far as after college. I know a few people who went to Ivy league schools. One of my gf's went to University of Chicago, #6 ranked college, even better than Harvard, for her MBA, a few went to Yale or other such schools. A guy I knew went to MIT for undergrad and grad school. Become a big wig at Big Tech, now a venture capitalist...

The ones who went to Ivy league schools, all but one had a free ride from their rich parents.

This shouldn't be surprising. Being a football team jock or a fraternity bro is meaningless in the long run unless you're able to take it to next level (i.e. becoming a professional football player or leveraging your fraternity connection to climb up the corporate ladder). Women care about your present status, not your status 10-15 years ago.

Funny story, I dated a girl who was still hot, maybe an 8, but banging body, who was a cheerleader in HS (we dated long after HS, not in HS) and ended up a total loser by 40, I still look her up on FB sometimes to laugh at her aging face. She still texts me once every year or two which I ignore. Guess the male friends she wouldn't give up didn't get her anywhere...but my life went on.

A guy recently applied to rent a house from me. I looked at his BG check and he had a felony for some violent assault a year ago, I think he was 21 or something. I looked him up online, he was a Tyrone in HS, football player, now a felon. But, he was making 60K a year at 21 with a felony, still better than some of the guys I mentioned on here earlier.

You simply need money to qualify for these chicks. A guy with money is disqualified from most women though. The only exceptions you see are guys from similar backgrounds of the women they picked up.

Your normal woman might say she prefers a wealthy man, but she will never do shvt to act on it. Essentially, she is playing the hope strategy, but it rarely works. In 2010 I was broke no job, no car and I got the most play in my life, why? I had time, and some women have a savior complex one woman would take me out to eat another help to set up my brand new bed when I moved in. These women weren't dimes but I was a full blown Hobosexual at the time I had to do what I had to do. My game was probably sharp then but the quality was nothing to brag about

Fast Forward 2020/2021 I made the most money I ever made and now going on dates with chicks that would never give me the time of day when in 2010 I was in far better shape and also younger. Money alone doesn't get you women, It's like the old adage man make the money, money never makes the man. The only thing that money does is give you access to women that the average guy doesn't have access too. The 6 figure chicks, the bottle girl, the model, the socialite, the trust fund chick etc. Can a regular guy meet them? sure no doubt about it but once you get into those circles, who you are and what you do matters far more to them than when you're meeting some random bimbo on tinder for a Saturday night hook up. These women tend to vet for husbands because they want to continue to live that trust fund lifestyle. In circles of money having a partner is a trust thing. There is a reason millionaires don't want single rich playboy types in there because dudes are worried you may bang their wives. This is why having a woman on your arm is a sign of trust and makes it easier to access those circles i.e. the country club

To anyone debating the impact money has in helping you meet women.

Take a city like Miami or NYC for example. You cannot live in these cities or their prime areas for meeting women unless you can afford the abnormally high rents. Can some dudes pull it off by permanently crashing on a friend's couch? Yeah but that is some real low value behavior.

If you are not in these cities, you are not meeting these women. Money allows you to live in these sorts of cities stocked with beautiful women. Money grants you access and nothing else. For these women, it is a checklist item at best but one checklist you have to meet.
