A girl I went on a 1st date with asked me

"what are you doing in the mall ?"

I replied,

"picking up girls".

Now, I told myself afterwards at least I was honest and I didn't want to be a puzzy and lie about it.

needless to say, I think she won't be seeing me again. I don't know I didn't ask for a second date.

The next time you see her and she asks you how it went, just be like:
"Yeah I tried picking up chicks, but I gotta admitt none of the chicks I met were as cool as you. There is no reason for you to be jealous. "

Come on man. You will be ok. All that happened, probably, was that she put up another shield for you to parry away.

A little advice though, never admit that YOU are picking up "girls." GIRLS want YOU, not the other way around. Something around the lines of being the fire and not the moth...(cliche, I know)

If you are indeffinately infatuated with this girl, the best advice I would give is to continue being "honest." But, please do it so that it advantages you. Dont go for another "witty" line.

I cant really tell you specifically what to say, but I dont think that will be too big of a problem for you. A little thought can go a long way.

Most likely however, she probably isnt worth any extra effort. Just learn from previous experiences mate.(notice i didnt say "mistake")

All the luck to you, my friend...

Yeah, I have a problem with honesty sometimes too.

The other day I was out and a girl I must have it on when I was drunk or something came up and said, "hey I met you before." She was really nice and friendly.

"really? I don't remember."

"You mistook me someone you knew."

"I was probably just making that **** up." I admitted.

She walked away.

Just laugh.

Eventually you'll learn to censor what you say. You can still be honest without saying sh!t that'll get you in trouble - just keep the information vague.

So wait .. you took a girl to the mall with you and told her you were there to pick up chicks while she was next to you? That's just dumb.
