Ok so I remember reading somewhere, possibly in the DJ Bible, that to get a really good haircut you have to go "where the chicks go."

So basically this morning I went to a salon recommended by my sister and got a great haircut for about $20. I had let it grow for like 3 months after buzzing it myself back in October, and it was definitely out of control. The stylist threw in some putty-like stuff at the end and made it look really hot.

After walking out of the store, I had to run a few other errands. The haircut, combined with a new sharp shirt I bought yesterday seriously upped my game. Even in Wal-Mart I noticed at least 3 double-glances by girls that walked by me or vice versa. When I was scanning for non-crowded register to hit up, a cute young female worker actually walked up to me and insisted I cash out in her line. I joked around with her and flirted a little bit and went on my way.

I know that I should have this confidence 100% of the time, but the bottom line is that I can say with certainty that I would not have gotten those double-takes if I had been wearing a hoodie and knit cap like I had been rocking with my longer wild hair.

Bottom line is don't forget how important it is to be well-groomed and don't underestimate the power of a good haircut in a spot "where the chicks go."

oh yeah I hear you, a sharp and clean haircut can go a long way. Or maybe the haircut made you felt confident so then in turn the women so that and bam you were getting major looks.

Also theres decent women at your walmart? My Walmart sucks so bad that I don't go in there at all since theres no good women at all aha.

That's why I tip my barber everytime. I go in there looking like a caveman and come out looking like brad pitt.

I am never going back to cheap haircuts. I told my stylist today that I hoped she never moved away, because no one else could cut hair nearly as well. Finding a stylist is a matter of getting several bad haircuts from different ones, until suddenly you get a lot of compliments from girls. Then stick with that stylist.

Not trying to burst your bubble, but I used to work at walmart, and what a cashier does is red lining. Basically they stand at the end of the register aisle and have to look for customers to ring up. It's literally in the job description. Not saying she wasn't flirting back though.

There's always a pretty diverse group of people at Wal-Mart here. While a good percentage of the people are backwoods rednecks, there are also a lot of college students and other more professional looking people from time to time.

Yeah I totally understand how that works, because I've noticed that usually someone will come up and find you to suggest their register. But I had caught this girl definitely turning her head when I walked by on my way in, and as I was coming back she intercepted me from far away and brought me back towards the other end of the register area. May have been coincidental, but she certainly was aggressive about it.

What type of cut do you ask for? How long is your hair? How long does the hairdresser spend on you? Did you get a happy ending?

I just got a fade cut...mostly buzzed along the back and sides, and blended in with some extra locks left on top to style. It's short and neat, but still enough to play with.
