A few things I've noticed on this thread
1. There are some hateful mutha*fkas on this thread!
2. There is a mob mentality
3. There is too much generalising
Yes what happened on that video is pretty brutal...But you don't know what happened before that. Both the guy beaten up and the cop who was hitting him. He could've had a bad day and had a meltdown and in that case he should get tried in court and the punishment handed down accordingly. The trials and all the other stuff you see is pretty hard enough even if you are guilty. He probably deserves a beating but YOU justify death as justice!!!!
You make me sick...really you do. You think ALL cops just do their job without an ounce of stress or hardship and just beat up anyone.
Man, you get all stressed out and hateful just because you've seen a video of a cop beating a poor black man. I get sick looking at it too but I don't wish death on the cop straight away. You condemn a man to death because of this? Maybe the cop just deserves a beating for this incident. Just think of the stress these cops have to face EACH day...real life sh*t mate! Im just glad you're not in the line of "stressful" employment...you're the type who would go postal because of teeny weeny incidents ( I dont have to name names here).
Everyone has a meltdown..hell I've even had a few from work...I worked as a bouncer for 12 hours straight with no breaks...Every drunken w*nker is giving you a piece of their own...trying to get back in...you get to the point where you don't have time to be Mr Nice Guy and tolerance just goes out the window. As soon as you put your guard down for the genuine cases...10 more f*ckheads try to barge in and overwhelm you...I am not defending the cops actions but you need to carefully look at what kind of sh*t people go through. I also do teaching at a high school where the lil sh*ts think you are paid to be your personal butler and babysitter...Many times I wanted to strangle a student but I have to do my job to the best that I can do...You just suck it up.
I've been in confrontations with cops who have acted negatively...but I try cooperate as much as possible...cos I know he has copped a lot of sh*t all through out the day anyway and I don't want to be the lucky 100th customer to win the meltdown and baton. Really is it hard to be cooperative and easier to be an a*shole?
How can death really justify this? Would that black man be cheering on and throw a big party over his death? I dont f*ckin think so. Would he have wished death on him? Dont know. If you beat someone do you deserve death? What if you were a cop and had beaten someone because you had a meltdown...gone to trial knowing you're guilty and been sentenced to death...would that be savvy? Sure hand down death sentences to all violent crimes...So whatever happened to "AN EYE FOR AN EYE"...its more like "death for a bruise"
I was once filled with so much hate that it really consumed me that I couldnt live my life straight...I wanted to kill this man...I had a glock locked and loaded...but I backed up...I realise the hate and rage i developed in my body, I had managed to do a sh*tload more damage than the damage he had done.
In society these days...a single gunshot is so called "adequately" corrected and punished by a hundred bombs..This cycle makes me sad.
I know you are a hateful lad...but lighten up...don't let you mind and body be filled with rage and hate.
