Journal #2

I've been so busy with school, then I haven't been on here often.
But, I have made some progress.

- You know those dumb Facebook "like and admit" things. Well I liked a post out of curiosity from this one girl I didn't really know who is a grade behind me back at middle school. Her response said, " I've known your name for a long time (wth?) and we should talk sometime." Upon reading that, I sent her a message saying "we should talk and what is your phone #?" Alas, she gave me it. Wow, well that wasn't so bad. That was this past Friday, btw.

- hb from journal #1 and I are becoming good friends. At Sunday school yesterday, she asked to put my number in her phone. That felt pretty good.

I HAVE 3 QUESTIONS FOR YOU GUYS ( srry for all caps, but I need some input)

So, then theres this dance coming up in February and I probably won't go due
Not having a car yet. Nothing against my folks, but I think its kind of kiddie and could be awkward during the trip.

Speaking of cars, what would guys recommend as a car that says, " Im a Cool dj who is confident, cool, and chill." I plan on buying one soon. I realize this can't matter too much, I mean it really has nothing to do with anything about yourself, but still, my guess is you won't get a lot of p**** in a Prius.

Also, haven't texted that 1st girl yet. Advice?

Grazie!

Dude I've thought about this a lot. I even have conversations with people about how I wish I had a distinctive car, one where people know its you when you pull up.

I drive a silver Camry. About as nondescript as you can get.

Best ones I've seen on teenagers: '74 baby blue Mustang, a Volkswagon van painted to look like the scooby-doo van, two of my friends have bright yellow and bright green Jeeps and cruise together.

I'd get something ****ty and call it the Lovemobile, because that suits my personality. Funny as ****.

A baby-blue mustang would be pretty best too tho...

Just go to the dance. **** looking like a kid, what chance of scoring do you have if you don't?

Finals week. Ughhh....

I have had some time to think and contemplate this
week. About DJing, women, and life in general.

I believe I have found the reason I have been
Slow with the girls.

I had asked myself, " Why don't you approach girls as often as you could."

And then, out of the blue, It hit me. It was so simple, yet so powerful.

Gossip.

What scared me most was people talking behind my back.

Ex: "Did you hear about Vinny asking ( insert hb9 here) to the dance."

Or even worse, confronting me face to face.

"Wow, Vinny. You asked her?"

I mean that has been the reason for not approaching hb8&9s since the beginning of middle school.

I know its pretty stupid, but it does bother me, and I don't think it can be fixed with a simple, "Don't let 'em get to you bro." You know?

Also, I took a bit of a risk and texted that girl from journal 2 last Wednesday.
I had no idea where it was gonna go, but we talked for a good hour and half and found out we had a lot in common.

Well that's all I have. If you have advice, help a brother and leave below.

Grazie!

Gossip is good. If people are talking about you, they're thinking about you. You ever started masturbating and accidently thought about your mum or best friend? Yeah, chicks do the same thing. The more they think about you the more likely one of those times will be while she's getting jiggy with herself.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
