A Bit Confused about girl!

I've been dating this girl for the past couple weeks and I do like her. The two dates that we've been on so far have been good, and we both had a great time together...both dates had us kissing so I took that to be a good sign.

anyway the thing is, is that this girl doesn't txt.....like ever!....or if she does its something like 8hrs after I've texted her that I get a reply. I find this kinda off-putting.....as if she obviously cant be too bothered about me. The thing is, is that her friend keeps telling me that she really likes me, and that she's like that (txt'ing) with everyone, so what do I do here, I feel as if I'm an idiot and I should just ignore her from now on.

I'm going out on sat night and she's going to be there, how should I treat her when she's hanging out with me.

Man I wouldn't worry... I'm the same with texts. It usually just means I've had my phone switched off or on silent or something!

On the other hand, bearing in mind the whole availability issue, would YOU text her back right away?

Just go with it, women aren't strange, unknowable creatures from another planet. The are desirous too and if she kissed you, saw you again and kissed you again... Of course she likes you!

maybe she just doesn't like to txt in general. I find txt to be an obnoxiusly tedious waste of a dime and of waste of my time. I have girls and friends that send me like 20 of these things at a time and use it like its a means of conversation. It takes like 1/100 of the time for me to say what I want instead of type it on my phone.Just pick up the phone and call. Anyways sorry for the rant but maybe she feels the same way about them

Does she answer/return you actual phone calls? If so then who cares? Don't waste your time with texting her.

I think your over-analyzing this situation anyways. Just have fun and let whatever take its course.

when you see her next just do what your best at, you know.. dont just next her like that, keep your cool...

yeah I probably do tend over-analyse things. Its just that she never ever texts back or texts me for that matter, so I do end up feeling like I'm doing all the chasing!

thats the issue I suppose....do I chase her or do I just stop pursueing her to show her that I dont need her. Even though I like this girl, I'm not prepared to make an ass of myself in the process!
