The new Bond tells the story of Bond when he had his first mission. He was inexperienced and naive. The fact that he was betrayed, fell in love and couldn't control his emotions is what made him into the Bond that he has been ever since. So your arguments are flawed. It is because of what happened to him that he became cold, arrogant and cynical.NickBe said:So he got two women and fell in love with one who proceeded to betray him. That is a 50% percent success rate, pretty poor by my standards. He is not on par he didn't get what he wanted. He wanted love but he was not enough of a man to keep the woman he loved from stealing his money?
Thats what a a true man is to you? a guy that lets himself get manipulated by a woman? and on top of that the guy can not even play a good game of poker. The old Bond was never that weak.
How did he get what he wanted in the end? he lost the girl he loved because she betrayed him and he had to go back to work a job he had given up.
