Anyone read the book?

A chick once told me that every guy should read it because that's how all women want to be treated in the sack, and Christian Grey was her dream man, and blah, blah, blah (stopped listening).

Anyway, I'm looking for a new book to read and thought this could be it (research).

I understand the main principles of the book, basically how a woman wants to be dominated. I figured there might already be a thread on this, since the book came out a while ago and it was such a big hit for the ladies, but I couldn't find any.

Any thoughts.....

uhm... I read the trilogy.... It actually started as twilight fan fiction. then the author decided to create their characters and backgrounds and it was money in the bag for her.

always bear in mind, a woman giving a man advice about relationships, the advice is usually worthless

I agree.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

How patient are you?

Chick lit is always poorly written diarrhea, it's just the way it is and always will be, It's not meant to be read by men. Different wiring and all that. If your not prepubescent ,full of estrogen or a moron your not going to get past the first 10 pages anyway without the urge to gouge your eyes out so it's kind of a moot point.

Read some of the great books for men instead.

This is what I was thinking and why I haven't read it yet.

But I'm still thinking it might be a good thing to read, just to know what it's all about....educational purposes ;)
