Research reveals how height influences our romantic and professional lives.

.

1. Women prefer to date taller men; tall men attract more desirable partners.
2. People view short men as less attractive and less successful.
3. Tall people make more money. Economists call this the “height premium.
4. Tall people are more educated.

5. Short men report being less healthy.

Now name 5 reasons men like beautiful young women. I mean, what's the point? Women can go after the tall guys, but not all women can marry a tall guy. Men may like supermodels, but most men don't expect to marry one.

Women care about height because other women care about height

6Ft + is a trend at the moment mainly propagated by social media and influencers

10-15 years ago it was never really mentioned some women would have it as a minor preference but nothing compared to the obsessive levels its reached today

Like everything in the human race the trend will move on or die down and all of a sudden there will be a frenzy for something else like a partner with a thick neck or some other crap

I'm 6'2 for the record.

6'5 seems to be the new dream height for women's desires.

I also hear you need to have an iPhone to be more successful with women.

I have an android, I drive a Lexus, and am on a path to make 6 figures.

Women are hive minded sheep.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

Is this a topic we will never tire of? Everyday there's a new thread about height, maybe it's because the men who aren't tall enough are insecure as all hell about it?

OP, judging by your other posts, this seems to be a passionate topic for you. I know plenty of sub 5'9 "manlets" that rarely had issues getting laid, though the stayed in shape and were pleasant people for women to talk to. Social media trends combined with some women's obsession to spawn a D1 athlete (even if they themselves lack the needed genetics) has created a stigma against shorter men. I also think its a subtle form of "revenge" against men by women who are insecure about their own bodies. I have seen them say things like "I can always get skinnier, but nothing you do will make you taller." in the comment sections of fat woman defending posts. Stop letting it define your failure OP; that only validate this stupid-ass trend further.

Tattoos have been popular for donkeys years , styles and patterns will change but they will be forever in and out of fashion

people tend to get them to either signify or express something , there are those that get them for the sake of it but then you can apply that to anything on earth

The height thing is an actual trend because pre 2010 it just wasn't a thing , I can't even really remember anyone ever talking about height before 2015

Then a few female dominated meme pages on instagram sprung up and all of a sudden it went wild , also highly synonymous with dating apps now too with the term "height fishing" and 5 11" now becoming popular memes themselves

again wierd

It depends on the type of woman.

A iPhone is likely to help when targeting White women with bachelor's degrees or higher living in major metropolitan areas.

Phone model seems to matter more with in-person approaches when you are collecting the number in person as compared to getting the number from a swipe app or Insta interaction.

Social media trends combined with some women's obsession to spawn a D1 athlete (even if they themselves lack the needed genetics) has created a stigma against shorter men.
Yes, this is a newer trend.

Does anyone know when being 6'0" started to become the baseline standard for women?

My sense is that started around the time when online dating websites became de-stigmatized. Women started to use them more and started to see their inboxes flooded on the internet. Around the same time, social media and smartphones became more popular. The combination of online dating websites/apps, social media, and smartphones make this possible. I'd say it has its roots in the 2008-2012 era.

I topped off at 5'10" around 2000. I don't remember my 5'10" height being judged negatively until the 2010s.

A man can minimize the height thing by arranging dates offline. There's still an effect in the real world even when taller than most women. A good portion of women can tell that the height difference isn't as big as they desire.

At 5'10", my degree of difficulty is increased. This isn't complaining, this is a field tested observation.

I also think its a subtle form of "revenge" against men by women who are insecure about their own bodies. I have seen them say things like "I can always get skinnier, but nothing you do will make you taller." in the comment sections of fat woman defending posts.
Makes sense to me.

Yeah, I noticed too. Height seemed to be a minor thing until the swipe apps came along and social media trends started to get nutty. Social media is filled chock-full of cherry-picked, heavily filtered pictures, and and algorithms that match you with other users to perpetuate confirmation bias in subsets of the population. Social media is a very distorted way of looking at the real world, and unfortunately many women (and men) fall for its trap. It has turned women against men, men against women, every ethic and racial group against each other, and now tall men against short men. The best way to combat this societal cancer is to stop letting it influence you. If a woman mocks you for your height, don't try to sell her on reasons she should date short men. Simply act indifferent, don't even acknowledge the insult. If you get defensive you further perpetuate the negative stereotype and reinforce her confirmation bias.

There is a cheat code that makes this nearly irrelevant.

When she asks how tall you are say:

“Oh cool, I’m into biometrics too! What’s your dress size?!”

I’m 5’10” I’ve done ok I guess, but I am curious - I’m going to change my height to 6’2” and log the deltas for a week. I simply DGAF, meaning it’s a data gathering exercise and I’ll never meet them.
