Yeah eating a lot of eggs is fine.

My breakfast typically consists of 2 scrambled eggs and butter and jelly toast but yesterday I bumped it up to three eggs.

One other thing. Most people will build an intolerance to eggs(or any protein) if they are not consuming many varying protein sources during the day. So if you can't afford too much meat for a few days you may need to cut back on your eggs as well.

I have developed an intolerance twice from doing this. Just stop eating them for a week and then your good to go. You will just get an upset stomach and gass after eating them if you have developed an intolerance.
Hmm.. this might explain a few times I've had gas recently.

On a separate note, I've been eating about around 9 eggs a day recently. Up until last week I was cooking scrambled eggs (4-5eggs) with some cheese for breakfast but as time went on.. I found I couldn't eat them all.. The last few bits made me feel nauseous. However with no problem I can throw the same number of eggs in a blender with some veggies and scoops of protein and drink it with no problem (little to no flavor seems easier for me to down then if I add splenda or some sweetener).

I eat less then those above but when I visit Cosco I usually buy 6 dozen at a time. Lasts me roughly around a week.

I eat 4-5 eggs for breakfast and put 6 in my post workout shake (home made)
Eating a lot of eggs post workout will slow down digestion, which is not what you want.

that's the modern dogma..... i don't see how it held back the guys who were slamming raw eggs before whey powder went big time.

Not really that it will hold you back per se, just not optimal for driving nutrients into your system post workout.

i do 14...36 eggs is insane. Not cause i think its unhealthy but my god thats an expensive diet. And i don't where i read it on here but i hear that if you get cage-free eggs it lowers the chances ever more significantly of getting salmonela.

btw...if you eat 36 eggs a day, thats 13,140 eggs a year lol i thought that was funny. And for the record, I saw a performance gain from raw eggs.

What kind of performance gains can anyone see from eating raw eggs ???

12 large eggs is 6 grams of protein..thats 32 grams of protein..but since there raw your absorbing even less..eating eggs is dense and keeps your appetite suppressed..so your getting maybe around 20 grams of protein and your not eating as much food because of how filling eggs are.

I'd rather drink whey protein in water (which is roughly 45 grams of protein depending on what kind you buy), which has 99% protein absorption, and still feel hungry to eat even more nutritionally dense food, like fish and chicken.

durr... 12 large eggs is 72g of protein. And they're 'filling' because of the fat content(chemical response causes you to feel 'full'), roughly 60g per 12 eggs.

Just wanted to clear that up.

it doesn't matter why it is filling..it isn't an optimal whey of getting nutrition..durr
