I date single moms all the time. They are just women... nothing special. I will say this... they are better at time management then some of the 20 something ditzos I've been out with in recent years. If they agree to a date, they usually keep them. If they don't like you... they won't come out and tell you, but their signals are crystal clear.

If you are a single dad... you REALLY have to be careful NOT to get into kid talk... that totally screws you up, and believe me it is freaking easy to do. Just do not talk about kids period.

If they are recently out of a relationship with the father of her kids, they can be emotional messes. Best leave them be until after a couple of years pass.

When you are a parent you naturally want to talk about your kids. You just can not help it. When you get two parents together... you will start talking about your kids and the next thing you know you are no longer gaming your date... you're acting like a gay male girlfriend yacking about homework, teachers, and stuff that distracts you from romance.

Try to steer any conversation away from anything that does not move you closer to what you want.
