4 hour work week

Anyone else read the book? I'm almost finishing it and I gotta say it's really good. Not only it gives you a better insight on how making your dream life come true it actually lists you ways to do it, (providing links for companys that you could use to make it come true).

Well if you get a chance to read it I don't think that you will regret it!

If you have read it tell me what you think!

Yeah man, I've read it. A good mix of content - the stuff on Pareto's law is nothing new, but it's interesting to see how Timothy applied it to his own business... the plan for negotiating a remote work agreement is excellent... as for the ideas on how to create an automated business, Timothy really only advocates one *specific* business plan, and almost certainly simplifies it beyond reality (I like the part where he goes off on trips and makes himself absolutely impossible to contact. What if someone dies? What if his site is hacked?). But as long as you read it with a critical eye, there are definitely enough good ideas to justify the price. He certainly gives more applicable ideas than concept salesmen like Kiyosaki.

What I'd really be interested in, is how many people are actually going to succeed with his plan, and how active their business ends up being. I do wonder how easy it is to get a product which sells automatically and consistently without your input for years. Tim did it with some rather dodgy looking "concentration improving" pills. I doubt you could achieve the same result with 'unique French sailor shirts' or whatever it is that Tim give as an example.

Hmm yeah the business plan doesn't seem to be as easy as he makes it look but even so, he gives some nice tools for us to start with.

We really can't expect a book to give us a magic spell that will free us, but this one atleast gave me an idea on how to do it and some pratical tools and concepts.

And I guess it suits the Don Juan when it comes to the mini-retirements and living the dream ;) And after reading so many ebooks about seduction and stuff like that it's nice to see something that hasn't got the core point on WOMEN. (No offense taken but it does tire me a bit)

The website for the author gives you a reason to pause and think. His claims about putting on bulk muscle mass using some techniques which are already well known in a very short time, just aren't credible.

The book has appeal because everyone wants to live well without working hard. The main benefit of the book is that it questions standard theories which suggest that there is a direct link between hard work and money.

Also it emphasizes the value of organisation. Structure is important.
