So I live in a town of about 2,000. In order to go on much of a date, even a first one, I have to drive her 30 miles one way. Problem is, it is hard to kino or make EC during that time. Any ideas?

Towns this small in my area have several bars which have pool or darts. We usually have a handful or small places to eat. There's usually a coffee shop too. Must commute to do bowling, movies, shopping. In order to rock climb or anything you're looking at an hour long drive.

Any ideas? On how to keep the date local or make the car ride less awkward? Outdoor ideas are pretty much out this time of year too.

I'm not quite understanding this--could you elaborate?

Are you saying you have to drive 30 miles to pick her up and 30 miles to bring her back to your "territory"?

In general, I have to pick an HB up and then drive 30 miles to get to anywhere that has activities besides a bar.

I wouldn't recommend just bumping music. That could get uncomfortable for her if you're not mentally engaging her.

Women LOVE to talk. Play C&F... maybe even personality reflection and THEN C&F when you get to where you're going. ASK QUESTIONS. If you ask the right question and follow with a little C&F, you could get her talking for a good 10 minutes. 3 of those and you're home free.

If she can't maintain a conversation with you for 30 minutes, you may be in for a long night. And not in a good way.

Aside from that, I actually moved to an area that was a hotspot for girls for a similar reason. I found a job here and everything. Sometimes it really is worth it to have your territory in a desirable location for "tourists."

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.
