3 types of men

You see, there’s three different types of men out there:

1) Ones that are afraid of talking to women

2) Then there’s the ones in between who are the wanna-be’s

3) And finally there are those that aren’t afraid of talking to women


Now, the guys who are afraid of talking to women simply don’t even dare to approach women. They instead lurk in the shadows and watch women from a distance and creep up on them. Eventually they go home and they mentally masturbate what it would be like to be with a woman like her.

The second type of dudes, are the guys who are the wanna-be’s. They act like they are tough in front of everyone, and when it is time to actually get to some action, they stumble and trip over themselves like fools. Most wanna-be's are on online forums studying seduction advice but don't yet have the courage to actually go out and get something accomplished.

Then there are the types of dudes who aren’t afraid of talking to women and will run up in every girl’s face to say something stupid, no matter what it is. Oddly enough, most of these guys actually end up getting laid. Most of them do not really get laid because of their skill or their good charms, but because of the simple numbers game: Eventually a girl will find them attractive enough and be horny enough to want to sleep with them.

Now, the real players also belong in the third type of guys. But the real players study a woman from a distance as well. They investigate and they learn everything they can about her before they move in for the kill. They do this to avoid looking like a punk and sounding stupid. A real player is like a hunter who will study his prey and find out it’s weaknesses and strengths, so it knows which angle of attack to take.

Whatever you do, become the last type of man and avoid being the first two types.

Though I think it's over simplified. I think there are 3 categories of men, first are the ones that want to be their own man, then there are the ones who are not sure what to be and where to go, those are the works in progress, and finally there are men who want to be like that player Dave down the block.

The forth type of men, the phantom men, are those rare bread of men, who know wtf they want out of life and do their own thing. They are similar to first category, but unlike the first category, they didn't loose that knowledge through societal evils. They knew it all along, they are the naturals.


I absolutely agree with you Dan. Most men on sosuave are like the 3rd type. Someone else's style, someone else's dreams, someone else's ambitions. Fakes.

Nothing wrong with canned opener provided you can make them work... I've found recently that if you try to get them through just saying the line the girl goes "WTF?!" but if you make it a little smoother by saying something like

Hey, you, settle something between me an my friend... now I know this is werid( Bear with me) but who do you think lies more; guys or girls.

Then when she gives you an answer you respond accordingly, openers are just nice ways so your brain doesn't have to always be creative. (Plus, it's always fun to make fun of the girl immediately by taking the opposite of what she said and turning it on her.)

Also a canned opener is proven material, so the PUA can caliburate his own skills because the opener is proven to work, so if it fails it's not the material... it's him.

The bottom line with canned opener that alot of people don't seem to get at the moment is that you have to 'proof' them. Make e'm seem at least somewhat legitimate in the conversation, and that your not just using them like any other cheezie pick up line. Plus, I like the who lies more opener.

Why not instead of telling people what catagory to be in. Help them get into it!! Because, some guys who post similar to you... Don't give simple steps or tips to be one of those "real players".
