Try and imagine ur in the girls position, you come up to her and start asking her survey questions and your prolly dont even have a paper or anything that shows that your not lieing to her. Women are extremly perceptive and I no all of them picked up on that, so right from the get go you are lieing to her, and she knows it. Use this as a rule treat her like a person not a woman, and when your talking to her try to put your self in her position and replay what you said but directed towards you. You will no why it didnt work, or did.

i stumbled onto this site after watching "The Pick-Up Artist" on VH1, it looks interesting, if a bit unconventional. anyway, i'm egar to learn more about this, you know, "method".

anyway, w00t, just some friendly advice, when a girl says she waiting for someone or that someone is waiting for her...that's her escape plan. especially when she then runs to the bathroom to get away from the 'stranger who is taking an unusual amount of interest in me' situation. you're intentions are in the place, but remember, you are a stranger to these girls. i've always found meeting people in public places like the grocery store or the mall a challenge, but it can be done.

like if you're in barnes and noble, and you just so happen to be browsing the selection in the same aisle as an interesting chick, just say something almost to yourself. like, "god, so maney choices" or "where is chuck palahuik?" or if you pick up a book about tattoos, just say "tattoos" (like, ah-ha! tattoos! finally) and give her a smile. she can take it from there if she's interested. it's just a casual opener, it's small talk. and if she doesn't take it from there, oh well. you were talking to yourself anyway. i mean, you'll have to think of you're own "openers" but really, all you have to do is become more comfortable making casual small talk. you can do this everywhere you go (preferably around ppl you won't see again to start with). man or woman, oldster of your own age, just become comfortable with light conversations with a stranger. 85% of the time these "conversations" will go no where, it's just being friendly really.

but all this "survey" ****, is so transparent. you want to give someone the creeps, you walk up to them and get in there face with questions and stories. you want to open a door, not act like a guy who's "after something".

my two cents anyway. i hope that made sense. best of luck, and honestly, for a couple weeks just work on small talk. and watch people around you, people do this all around you. pay attention to them.
