Thanks for posting your opinion. I don't think this forum has it wrong at all, the discussions in Mature Man are fine.

One of the problems here is that we have posters who post that they are 25 just to be able to post here. Many of these 17-23 year old posters feel like they are mature enough to give advice to someone who is two or almost 3 times their age.

I am not so keen on people giving bad advice, regardless of age. I have seen some horrid generalizations here , such as a horribly misconstrued comment about kids of parents with Bi-Polar disease. People who have no business posting information do so with no regards to the truth, or even any imperial proof.

I have met retards in their 30s, and some really mature well to do people in their early 20s. Age has less to do with poor advice than overall stupidity of whoever is posting garbage.

This is true and there are some 30+ year old virgins here. But I have an aversion to taking dating advice from a kid who could be my son. That's just me.

I don't disagree with you.

However, there is a correlation between EXPERIENCE and AGE.

99% of kids don't know $hit, agreed. I guess if that one in a thousand kid w/ game came around, I'd like to hear their point of view. I am amazed by naturals, since I was anything but when I was a kid.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

That's why I pick and choose my spots where I post on this forum. I don't feel comfortable giving advice to anyone who is 40+ unless they are really down and out or really in need of some of the most basic advice. But any thread about divorce, LTRs and marriages, I stay the hell out of, because I have no business giving anyone advice about them.

Most 25-year-olds are relative in levels of maturity. I've been emancipated from my parents since I was 19 and have held a job since I was 16, so I'm probably fairly mature. On the other hand, I have some friends who are my age and are very immature. I don't think there is one real age where a guy can be considered a "Mature Man". It differs from guy-to-guy. I was probably mature enough to post here by the age of 22 or 23. But some guys might not reach that level until their late 20s.

There are a few guys who post on the regular board who are in their early 20s and probably mature enough to post here. Comic_relief is probably one of them.

It seems like a while back, this board was 23 and older? I'd agree that 23 is probably too young to be posting here for mostly every guy, but 25 is probably the correct cutoff.
