2 Weeks Apart, How To Maintain Interest w/o Being AFC?

So I have been hooking up with an HB8 since the beginning of August every weekend. We have real physical chemistry. I like her a lot and think about her. Ironically, you can call her a fwb. With that being said, she is studying for a major exam (LSAT) that is next Wednseday. I am going to be traveling for business and won't be able to see her till after her exam on Friday.

How do I maintain her interest level over the next two weeks?

The problem is texting. She doesn't like to text and texts very rarely.

I don't want to come off as an AFC but an alpha male. Should I call her the evening before the exam to wish her luck? Or just go NC until I see her next Friday?

Since the both of you are going to be legitimately busy these next few days, I would send ONE GOOD TEXT to "put the hook in" (or call if texting is a bad idea with her). Make it clear (with your vibe) that you won't be bothering her with a bunch of communications while the two of you are busy over the next week or so, but after the exams and business travel are over, you have a little something special in mind for her... Don't give too many details, but she'll be amused and it will be something for her to look forward to.

What will the special thing be? That's up to you, based on what you know about her... Maybe bring sushi rolls and a six pack of Seagrams next time you hook up? Totally up to you, but it doesn't have to be a dozen roses and plane tickets to Honolulu, LOL.

Hey I really appreciate your feedback Gambler. That is some solid advice. We have made plans to go hiking next weekend but it's so far away I'm not sure if she will remember lol. We spoke about it on the phone. Should I wish her luck on the phone or fire a quick text (less AFc) before her exam?

You really like this gal, don't ya? If you want her to know you're thinking about her as more than just a FWB, then by all means, I would send a good luck text. I would hardly consider that an AFC or "smothering" type of move. If her phone can receive photos, you can send a pic of yourself (looking sharp, of course), holding something like a gavel or some other prop relevant to law school... You get the idea.

Let her know you're thinking about her, but do it with style! And not too often! Damn... Wish I knew an HB8 going to law school!
