btw whoever posted the Guido + Luigi cartoon, cheers! I used to love those cartoons but I totally forgot about them!

hey confusion I've got a new workout for you...

take a hammer and hit yourself with it, do this 400 times as hard as you can - it really builds up your head muscles...works your forearms and biceps too, you should see good gains :)

It's an alright cardio routine, kinda slow though. I've been on the routine for four days now and I still haven't felt a single burn. I was better off in the gym.

I do love this thread though, organziedconfusion is being a real jackass. I want to hear his comebacks some more they are so lame they're funny.

no i bascially do about 800 in 25 mins 5 times a week. add whey protein to that and you wont need a gym really. the only disadvantge i find in gyms is sharing and people wasting yourtime. not to talk of the expense. travelling and membership.i lift 2 sag bags with bricks in them for a shoulder workout i also hate when guys at gyms try to compete with you tryingto be stronger especially if a girls around. changing rooms stink.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

You sound kinda anti-social. Do you need to feel like guys are competing with you? No, but you should, its healthy, try using your words to win over the women instead of your muscles when you're in the gym.

Training at home is okay, but you won't get the full benefits of the motivation from the gym. You also won't recieve any feedback from your workouts.

For one, if you went to a gym and explained either organizeds' or your 800 pushups routine to a person in the gym and told them they were wasting their time you may just get a good lesson. Unless of course your entire workout regimen and your goals are endurance centered. If you are aiming for any strength, or balance than you've got to switch up your routine once and a while.

Well push ups are certainly useful. Being stuck for months at ~210lbs Bp, I managed around 260lbs after ~6 weeks of frequent push ups. Oh and I lost a few lbs during the time. Try it, works like magic.
