17, and i still want to grow...

I'm 5'7" and im 17 and a half, im not satisfied with this height, even my dad is still taller than me by 2 inches, can you guys suggest anything i can do in addition to a good diet in order to grow a few more inches...?

A local football player that I went to school with awhile ago went to his doctor for a physical. He was about 5'4" when his doctor prescribed a version of steroids to him. By the end of the year, he was 5'10". (Watch Fred get all huffy.)

On a serious note though, not all roids are created equal. I was perscribed to a type of steroid when I was a toddler cuz I had a nasty allergic reaction to Penicillin and ended up with hives. It wasn't an anabolic roid as far as I know. Anabolic roids do stunt growth. That's a fact.

Do heavy lifts that compress the spine, like squats, deadlifts, hack squats, clean and jerk. The only growth hormone triggers are in the spine, and these excersizes are the only ones that promote GH and Test.

On a further note, you still have a spurt to go. You really do grow until you are 21. My bud went 5'10" to 6'2" between begining of college and end of sophomore year, so don't brush it off as BS, it happens.

hopefully i will grow too im only like 5'5 and ill be 17 april 6th ( thats in like a month....) i need a growth spurt or somethin!! ;o

It's a badly-kept secret.
From what I've heard, there's not much you can do to promote growth.

Sleep more, eat more, perhaps spine-compressing lifts like Soshyopath suggested - although you have to be careful with them. But even those things won't really make you grow much more (if at all). You're height is difficult to change... like wrists, it's all bone structure.

There's not much you can do to make yourself grow more, but there are a hell of a lot of things you can do to stunt your growth!
