Don Juan
Well gentlemen my prom was a couple weekends ago and it was pretty good, I had a lot of fun. I didn't end up hooking with my prom date, but I did get head from one of the girls I had previously laid (time of the month) so it wasn't too bad of a night.
So with the completion of prom, it's now sinking in that just a week seperates me from freedom. I've got a couple days of classes left, then by this time next week I will be done writing my last exam (and somehow I manage to find time for this)
I've got mixed emotions about finishing high school. I'm a little disappointed to be leaving because I've finally got my high school game together. I know that if I were to stay for a 5th year I would clean up, but I've gotta get on with my life.
That being said I can't wait to go to school next year. With over 30,000 students and 3 of my best mates coming along, I know I'm going to rock University.
The best part is that I will finally be rid of Vaughn and be able to distance myself from my oneitis. I swear she's everywhere, I see her all the time whether it's in class, after school or on the weekends. I've tried everything, hell I've had sex with 5 different girls and she's still all I think about. So why am I so excited? She's heading down to the States. That's right, 10+ hours of highways and a border will seperate us.
I'm ready for a new start and I know that University will be the place to make it happen. I know I'm going to rock University because I'm an outgoing person, certainly not shy or afraid of embarassing myself and I've been told that's half the battle. However there are still a bunch of things I want to address before heading off.
I will probably start a college journal once high schools officially over, but hell I'll post what I think I need to do here. (probably repost later)
Plan for the Summer
1. Start back at the gym
At the start of the school year, I lived in the gym. I'd be lucky to get in one workout every 2 weeks now, this is definately going to have to change. Now that I'm done my Accutane cycle, I can start cycling creatine again. I will be getting into the gym minimum 3x a week. I figure with creatine water weight plus the initial gains that I'll get I should be able to approach 190 by the close of summer. (~180 now)
2. Develop a more mature style
I'm going to be buying my summer clothes soon, plus my back to school clothes in the next few months. I'm almost legally an adult, it's time I started dressing like one.
3. Get teeth whitened
I used the whitening strips in grade 10 and they did wonders, but now my teeth are starting to stain again. Will invest in some crest white strips.
4. Eat healthier
This one ties in with #1. I've been really stressed out lately and I've felt like sh!t. I know that I can atleast attribute some of this to my diet. I've been eating McDs or the equivalent nearly every day.
5. Get more sleep
I've really been lacking on the sleep, with final projects, exams and parties I've been averaging about 4-5 hours of sleep per night which simply isn't enough. I'm going to start trying to go to bed earlier and waking up earlier.
6. Consume less alcohol
I've been getting into a routine of drinking like a fish twice every weekend. I'm talking about not remembering drunk. This is fun every once in a while, but I know that it has been taking a toll on my body and I'm going to try to cut down a bit.
7. Read some books
I saw an interesting thread on books for a DJ to read. Ever since about grade 5 I have completely abandoned reading. It wasn't until I had to read the Natural for my University Prep English class that I realised how much I enjoy reading. I'm thinking so far... 1984, How to Win Friends and Influence People, maybe some Jim Cramer books because I'm hella interested in investing. Any other suggestions?
8. Enjoy It
This could be the last summer that all of my friends are together in one time. It's time I take it all in and have the best summer of my life because as I get older, I know I won't be able to enjoy them as much.
