Not to derail the thread, but anybody ever look back at some of the old posts from say the early 2000s? Posters were a lot cooler and supportive of one another back then. I often wonder why.
Came here after re-reading my thread and seeing Billy reference your post here.

I would say social media, COVID lockdowns, and the popularity of OnlyFans leading to the loneliness of men.

Like when I was growing up, the hottest girl in our high school was the hottest girl within like...our county, and she would only date the other popular guys in like...our country. Nowadays the hottest girls in every high school are seeing how they stack up against each other in the global arena, and the hottest ones are becoming millionaires the day they turn 18 because they have a communication channel to the rich and famous.

Then you have COVID lockdowns which made a lot of people even more dependent on social media where they became further introverted. This is the first year I noticed at some of the college bars that people will pack it in early, rather than staying out until close, and I think that partially has to do with the fact that they likely don't have relationships with as many of their peers since their freshman and sophomore years were spent online.

And then you have OnlyFans where hot girls can become rich by having lonely men pay for a parasocial relationship with their favorite bikini girl or p***star. They get wealthy and will tend to only want to date men who are above them in terms of income and power, which disqualifies a lot of men, leaving them lonely and bitter, leading to the black pill and red pill movements, and even here.

My 2 cents.

His age had been listed at age 41. That's an early Millennial. I don't know anyone born in the 1981-1986 range that uses the term supper.
Lol. Yeah, it’s still in use by some Gen X, as well as boomers and silents.

I actively try to strike outdated terms/phrases from my vocabulary. I never want to be the old “groovy” guy lol.

Also, try not to make references to pop culture things that are more than 10+ years old. It's a good practice for when you're talking to women in their 20s.
