    one fact about carbs is that GI is important as to whether the carb should be eaten-sugars should be avoided except in pwo situations. higher gi carbs should be kept to minimum. they do say that mixing in fat in a meal will reduce the meal's GI (compared to if you jsut at the carb by itself)...
