    Leaning/shredding

Yeah, I've been doing the 16/8 fasting for awhile (I eat from 1-9pm). I plateaued a bit after the first couple of months, but that also correlated with the holidays. I'm also concerned that if I push it too hard I risk weakening my immune system. So if I'm really, really hungry by mid morning...

    Leaning/shredding

Now that my workout routine has been curtailed for a week, I'm starting to get serious about having a Plan B for the medium/long term. See my other thread about home gyms. The flip side: what about leaning-up aka shredding? Doesn't that involve less exercise combined with a restrictive diet...

    Home gym minimums

I know I'm adding to the chorus of "oh no! my gym closed! now what?" And there have been a bunch of replies, including a lot of YouTube videos. which between work and my additional co-parenting/quasi-home-schooling duties I haven't had time to watch. At the Y, I basically do a round on the...

Slow but noticeable changes in OLD, not that it matters much

I swipe when I'm bored, make incremental changes to my profile when I'm even more bored. Thankfully I'm nowhere as invested in it as I was a year ago, when I learned the hard way just how soul-sucking and toxic that scene is. But now that we're a week into social distancing, changes are...

Someone with experience in gradually removing bupropion?

Took it for 10-12 years. It had a very positive impact for at least the first three-five years or more. After that I suspect that I had acclimated to the drug and it wasn't really doing much. I didn't feel any changes in mood during the ramp-down and I basically feel the same now as before...

Someone with experience in gradually removing bupropion?

I am not a doctor, but was married to one. And I just recently rolled back off bupropion completely. I went every other day for a week, then the next three doses were three days apart. This under the supervision of my doctor (not my ex). Went just fine. I'll say that I've been finding that...

    Quarantines coming in major cities

Agreed on the city mice vs the country mice. The figures I've seen (from the Imperial College of London report) are that approx 2.2 million die in the US with no mitigation in place, and more like 1.2 million in an ideal, China-style lockdown (which isn't going to happen here). So I don't know...

    Quarantines coming in major cities

I hear what you're saying, and there's merit to the argument that physical distance begets its own natural social distance. But in the argument of trajectory being the primary cause for concern, I'd direct you to these graphs (note the Y axis is an exponential scale): Growth Rates, State by...

Are you guys actually worried about the coronavirus?

Ummm... dunno what dimension you live in, but it's not the same as mine. Where I am, the schools are closed for three weeks. Which is a pipe dream, but I guess everybody from top-to-bottom needs time to process these new realities. Unless there's a nice fluffy rabbit hiding in that hat...

    2nd marriages lead to divorce.

This. Exactly this. I may be taking it to extremes, but for the moment my rule is "my personal life is my business, and not something they need to concern themselves with." They don't know I even have a GF, have no idea of the many things we've done together, including my recent trip to Costa...

Want to be validated like a woman? Go to another country.

Some of it appeared that way. Some were clearly looking for pay-to-play. Others were typical post-wall women bottom-fishing. But I'd say about a quarter of the likes seemed legit. Not that I'll ever know for sure, as there was no way for me to follow through with any of them.

Want to be validated like a woman? Go to another country.

Same. That was almost as shocking as getting more "likes" in three days as I do in an entire year.

Want to be validated like a woman? Go to another country.

This is pretty much my take-away as well. Compounded by the fact that I'm tethered to my kids' school system for a couple more years, stranding me in a dry hole socially. Hoping to move someplace with more social opportunity once I'm able to do so.

Want to be validated like a woman? Go to another country.

So I just got back from joining my GF for the tail end of her trip to Costa Rica. Flights were cheap, the housing was cheap, and school vacation last week was my ex's turn. So even though it was only a few days, I figured I needed the adventure. Never been to Central America, never stayed...

What would make a girl develop a flat butt?

I have a reverse anecdote, which may or may not apply here: hormones. My GF claims that when she went on the pill, it rounded out her butt a bit and made her go up a bra size.

I'm tired of her low sex drive, can't ***...thinking about breaking up

Yup, very similar to her favorite vibrator that works like a charm every time. She also finds that a wand vibrator isn't as effective.

I'm tired of her low sex drive, can't ***...thinking about breaking up

Yeah, my GF is basically unable to cvm without a vibrator. It took me awhile to adjust to that, I won't lie. But she's very matter-of-fact and comfortable with her sexuality, so over time I've taken to heart her reassurances that she "doesn't need to orgasm for it to be a good session". So...

    Lean Muscular vs Big Muscular??

At the gym I've been noticing different guys at various stages of their fitness journey. Physique is only one part of a person's "presence". Head and facial structure is equally important. I know, not exactly news around here, but it's interesting to people-watch through that lens. For...

Is anyone here in the middle of their progress to become a chad/brad status?

Fun fact (helps to have a GF who has studied Food Science): an avocado has half a day's requirement of fiber. Yup, that's right, fiber. Not to mention healthy fats, plus 3g of protein for the cherry on top. Livestrong.com has a very nice avocado benedict recipe which is very high in protein...

Is anyone here in the middle of their progress to become a chad/brad status?

Agree. I'm just over 5'11" whereas you are just under. I started at 185+ and dropped to the 160's in about three months starting July 2018. With a lean physique I consider my ideal weight to be 160. In the past year I've been staying around 164-168 but slowly and steadily building muscle...
