That's my point. telling someone to be a father in the face of that kind of heinous injustice doesn't make sense to me. A-lot of times guys want to be a good father but can't in this system.

Bro the law in this regard is complete bs. The family court is lawless in it's treatment of men. I don't know his full story obviously but a-lot of good men/fathers can't pay the child support because the way it's calculated is insane.

The way child support payments are calculated is often times bullsh*t and puts hard working, well intentioned fathers in a position of being unable to pay them. Let's not assume OP is a deadbeat until we have more info.
