It was a 20 year old who got a hold of his parent's weapons. I can't find any description of the shooter's bio just yet to make any judgements, But I do know his state of mind wasn't right.

Mass shootings are often linked to incel status.

The Virginia Tech shooting in 2007 was perpetrated by an incel who was pissed about being an incel. He did also have mental illness diagnoses in his past.

I go there. It was truly traumatizing.

He opened gunfire around 11:57 at the Student Union. My boyfriend and I were about 20 minutes away. I had a class at 1:20 and we were going to stop by there for a bite to eat. We had someone running with tears in her eyes warning us to NOT go anywhere further.
We have class on Mondays. And finals. I guess they’re expecting us to continue as normal as though two people haven’t died and others in the hospital. We have ONE day off for a mass shooting even though we had a week off for a snow day.

My classmates are being interviewed by CBS right now. This is insane.

The motives? Who cares. Some people say he was bullied, some say he was a supremacist, some say he hated women. It doesn’t matter, no sane person does this to innocent people. I don’t care if he was a virgin or an Incel this is no excuse for violence.

I can imagine it is traumatizing from what you've already said.

It is wild to think that 20 minutes is the difference between you being a gunshot victim and potentially dying and you being alive and healthy right now. It is something that many would have difficulty processing.

We have class on Mondays. And finals. I guess they’re expecting us to continue as normal as though two people haven’t died and others in the hospital. We have ONE day off for a mass shooting even though we had a week off for a snow day.
That's extremely frustrating. I was a college student from 2001-2005.

In Fall 2001, I was early in my freshman year when 9/11 happened. My campus was not near New York City or Washington DC.

9/11 happened on a Tuesday morning. I had a test scheduled in one of my Tuesday afternoon classes. The professor did not postpone the test despite the greatest tragedy on our nation's soil since Pearl Harbor in 1941, which was 60 years earlier at the time. That professor was quite insensitive.

Taking classes on Monday is going to be difficult. I have empathy for you.

Hi @SW15, thank you for your response and empathy. It is still difficult to process and still feels little unreal. The Student Union at Florida State truly felt like the safest place on campus, and it sucks that illusion is ruined to me now. Seeing people run for their lives was harrowing. The peace has been disturbed at a place where we were just trying to get an education.

The fact that so many of us students were so close to the area and keep thinking, god, if we just chose a different path that day or arrived earlier, what would have happened?

Not to mention, the shooter’s gun jammed several times as he reloaded and pointed it at people. It could have been so much worse.

The fact that your Professor didn’t postpone the test on the day of 9/11 is just unbelievable. If I were you, I would’ve gone home and reported him to the administration. I guess he had no heart or didn’t care about anything else about history. What a bot.

If there’s anything good that came out of the shooting, is that I’m now more grateful than ever for my life. To think that an hour before the incident my main concerns was finding a parking spot just seems so trivial now. Life is so precious.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Every one of your feelings is normal and it will take time to process.

That is a valid point about the shooter's gun.

It was terrible to have to take that test on the afternoon of 9/11. The professor's rationale was that we all studied for it on 9/9 and 9/10 and should have been prepared.

Other people had to do stuff on 9/11. McDonald's employees outside of the attack zone had to show up to serve customers. Auto mechanics worked on cars on 9/11. Plumbers dealt with piping and toilet issues that day. Hospitals outside the attack zone were business as usual. Physical therapists saw patients that day.

If there’s anything good that came out of the shooting, is that I’m now more grateful than ever for my life. To think that an hour before the incident my main concerns was finding a parking spot just seems so trivial now. Life is so precious.
Yes, that is the kind of thing that happens after a tragedy.

It is good you are unharmed. Your family is happy about that. Both you and your boyfriend survived unharmed.

I am sorry about this. Hey you mentioned " boyfriend". Are you a woman?

Dude....you gotta think about the state of mind these dudes are in....maybe if they found this site or something, we could have saved some lives. Society teaches how to make money or how to get degrees or such and such but they don't teach some basic lessons on how to feel good without external validation and basic spiritual education/foundation. That's why I want to write a couple of books on these topics someday, I just need a good publisher.

Yep. That he didn't instead drop by The Majestic Theatre in San Antonio on the night Rogan was taping Burn The Boats-arsenal in tow-and rid the planet of a bona fide pestilence, is testament to this

Lol....I just made a new video...but I only got 8 views. It seems whenever I make videos about sight seeing, playing pick up basketball, going to the mall or seeing some cool mountain...I get a ton of views...but whenever I make some life changing advise that can benefit someone, my ratings starts going down and no one is interested.....maybe I'm shadow banned in that concept...you just never know.

Not just incel status but being a loner/social reject in general. When was the last time a mass shooter was a quarterback on the football team or one of the "cool kids"?
