I’m a grown man but still there is a critical need for personal growth. In some ways I’m my age, in other ways I’m like a 14 year old boy. When looking back it’s noticeable that growth for me is possible. I have a general streak of insecurity still for instance, but I can cold approach easily now. The need for growth ranges within everything, from game to professional life.

The problem is: it goes way, way too slow. One measure for speeding up is to DO MORE, instead of planning and thinking, day dreaming. My rule of thumb is that if I’ve thought about it a couple of times I do it, because I won’t stop thinking about it. The thinking is for me a good indicator to that something is relevant.

Another way is to strategically spend money, to actually use money to get somewhere, something my dad couldn’t. If a book is a road block, I buy the book, simply. I don’t have to be 100% sure.

One challenge is to identify when the next step of growth is present. It’s almost slumbering in the subconscious, hard to detect. I ask today: what will I in one month think “I should have done this sooner”? It’s darn hard.

Let me know if you have tricks for speeding up personal growth.

You simply start taking action.

People sit around waiting for motivation to do something many times but the ironic thing is that once you start doing something that becomes motivation in and of itself which then allows you to keep going and doing.

While there is nothing wrong with trying to make the process more efficient, you might get a better ROI if you focus on eliminating or at least mitigating what is holding you back.

What bad habits/vices or incompatible goals/beliefs are getting in your way? What do you most need to get rid of?

It's not a guarantee to accelerate anything, but you could keep a journal or spreadsheet to track your progress. Count the wins. You might be surprised how quickly things move forward.

Yeah, but this only works if you are really honest with yourself, write a list of the fears you have, then make a plan to overcome them.

Maintain a grateful attitude. Be thankful for what you have going on. This creates an aspirational positive mindset, which develops greater vision to growth and development.

This is the basics. And it’s easy once you understand how to do it.
Have you ever planned, acted, but felt like what you were about to do was “limited” by something in your environment?
Action is not enough sometimes

This will happen with many men in “improving themselves”. The fact is that now many men simply do not have the resources, upbringing, or physical and mental TALENT to get what they wish for. That’s not their fault or a bad thing.

Throw yourself into complete chaos and clust **** situations, jump straight into the deep end without a plan and learn to swim.

Ha that's where most my personal growth has come from.

You are so sure about this. It seems like you have faced it yourself. You should tell us more
Yes, I’m sure there are men who are not especially talented and don’t come from rich families who cannot attain what they have ambitions for. It’s self evident in everyday life.

I’m not sure why you made this personal and requested my own personal limitations. But I’ll take a stab at it. I was a pretty good swimmer as a young fella but it was evident early on that I was no Michael Phelps or Mark Spitz. I wasn’t extraordinary.

inb4 someone takes this as me not for trying one’s best or hard work. “Whatcha tryna say? I shouldn’t strive to achieve my goals?”

You can achieve whatever you want… within your limitations.

Now we can get to you, if you don’t mind. Do you have any particular ambitions?

I'm a very good artist, but I hate marketing, and having to sell something to someone.
So I think I could become famous or rich, but I would lose my passion for it.
But I love the process. And the product. Not the marketing!

That's why you can understand that the experience with women, but in general the "social", is frustrating.

When you see humans empty inside, without inner game, with all these embellishments and flourishes taking the stage, and having everything from life you ask yourself if you would like to be with them in the intimate and silent moments, to see what comes out of their inner emptiness. I would be very curious.
They have maximized the outer game, while some people maximize the inner game.
To see it from a female perspective: Active Dread vs. Passive Dread

At my age I don't have enough, I would like to improve even more, changing career, I can get another degree now. I'm currently deciding whether to get a college degree to gain security in the mainstream job market, or another type of degree to have a "job", independence, in this case something to do with nutrition/fitness.

Don't overthink it. Just do.

One thing at a time.
Whatever you feel motivated to work on, that day.
It might be the thing that's most in need of development, or it might be what's achievable.

The journey is more important than the destination, ie you WILL see results before you achieve your goals.
