A lot of you make me laugh when you claim that women over X age have no options except to sit at home and pet their cats. So here's a story of another case where its not as true as some of you make it out to be.

A female I know very well is almost 50. This woman has a cute face, but is 25lbs over weight. Recently she had three of her single male neighbors offer to repair her fence that fell down. She took the first guy up on his offer and he barely charged her. A few days later he is asking her to go to a concert. She accepts. He picks her up in a limo for a concert that is over 1hour away.

Free weed, free alcohol, free concert, almost a free fence repair, and rode to the concert in style! This chic has no sexual interest in this guy. I wouldn't even call them friends.

Not something I would ever do, but a lot of guys do. I'm just saying it happens more than a lot of you want to believe.

The wall doesn't mean no options. It never did. It means less options for attractive woman and whom they can attract. It slides from anyone they want to no one.

You point out lower tear guys. Usually very beta, or just passed over until they get their chance. There might be a BP dude or two in there. This doesn't mean much. These dudes will always be around. They are easy commitment guys. Quick to marry and provide resources. What you describe is very common.

There are a class of older guys who are basically butlers who fix fences, clean gutters, cut grass, etc. When an older lady changes her status of FB, from married to single these guys come out of the wood work. Its never the guys that these older woman are interested. They hit the wall for those guys.

These guys range from around 35 - 75. They are classified as "drones who support the matriarcy", in the classic, the predatory female by rev Shannon.

This doesnt mean there's no wall. There are multiple walls beginning with epiphany when the back up guys becomes a real option to the final stage of invisibility around 60 or heavy wieght issues. . The wall is very real. The type/quality of guy a woman can interest steadily declines. Pamela Anderson can't attract the caliber of guy she could at say 20 - 30; 31 -45, 50+ . She'll hit the final stage that is invisibilty eventually, they all do.

There's a natural symmetry in this process since a woman of great beauty and sex appeal at the end of the cycle has an equivalent smv as the pimply faced 21 year old young man. Nature shows no mercy as that woman is useless in advancing our species, just as certain mens seed is deemed unsatisfactory from early in. Our clergymen will disagree with this view.

Tbh it does feels kinda good to be "that guy". It might even be a primal part in us men, the need to protect and provide.

About the wall: you know my opinion. I agree with @maturin , but I also think that he describes the wall in his(or her) most technical form, and from the perspective of the woman individually.

The general sexual wall however( for women)..tells us a different story. We might've been through a major cultural shift already where the wall is pushed back significantly. Combine this with the fact that most men struggle with dating and voilà; we end up in a situation where a 40 y.o woman can and will have as much abundance of men as a 20 y.o woman. Individually she might not have as many great options as before, but if she gets herself over this fact she can go back to enjoy her options like she always did..

The latter might also be applicable to men by the way, and it's probably needed as well; maybe some men need to let go of the narrative that a 30 y.o woman is " too old" because all it does is limit (some)/ a man's options. Some men need to accept that they will be dating older women. What's older? That's a case by case situation. For some men older will be 30, for others it might be 50..

Shes a 5 here but in places like France, Amsterdam, Eastern Europe, Russia...etc....she wouldn't be any man's radar...she would have to get in shape and actually earn a guy's attention.

The guys in the West, especially America have to really lower their standards to get a date. I suggest you get some sort of side hustle going and learn how to make money online and get that passport out of there. For a start loneliness is going to endemic In that age bracket as social circles will likely have been allowed to decay over the years

Once a man is bored enough anything becomes interesting ( why do you think gardening is so popular )

Relationships in this age bracket are going to be more geared towards companionship rather than basic attraction / sex

The wall typically means that whatever "quality level" a woman has been used to attracting her whole life up til that points starts to drop off and she finds herself confused as to why only "lower quality" men compared to the ones she used to date are the only ones interested.

It can be very hard for them to mentally deal with, especially if they are generally attractive.

How do you know the guy had any sexual interest in her? As said above, he was likely lonely and wanted to go with someone. As for fixing the fence, maybe he needed practice.

I was out with some people for brunch, one woman I knew took me aside and said "Badboy89, the 46 year old single mother wants to be ALONE with you." I said "Why?" Same woman, if I had an extra hockey ticket, I would ask her to go with me 2 seconds. Not down for sexual relations with her, but I'm down with companionship with her. Now if that woman said "The 23 year old single never married no kids woman wants to be alone you." I would have said "OK"

In terms of the Wall with women, I don't think its not "never doing anything with a woman" I think when most men refer to the Wall, they refer to it in terms of sexual relations with a woman
