In alot of species, specifically pack animals, weak males don’t mate. I don’t know why in our over developed human brains we think it’s much different. We are for sure pack animals.
in wolves, only the alpha male and female mate. In gorillas, which we are more closely related to the silverback sleeps with all the women and the subordinate males only sleep with the women the alpha no longer wants. I tend to think us as humans are really similar.
How to be a silverback:
Be a leader: The blackbacks are subordinate to the silver back and no one challenges his authority. If they do challenge him they know the silverback will attack. Be a leader in your life. Dictate group activities, make the plans, take the lead. This applies in your social and work life. Practice being more assertive at work, if you’re married or in an ltr get things done without being told or reminded, be dependable.
Be a protector: Despite their reputation, silverbacks are docile fun loving creatures. They are generally quiet and shy until challenged.
Don’t seek confrontation, but when it finds you never shy away. All disrespect is immediately addressed. This Isn’t just with women, this is with coworkers, other men, your family if necessary. Be kind and respectful while simultaneously tolerating no disrespect.
The reason everyone respects the silverback is because they know in a threatening situation he will be the first to defend them.
If you live in a gun state you should be seeking your concealed carry license and i advise everyone to take up a combat sport as a hobby, be it Boxing, Brazilian jiu jitsu, or Muay Thai or if possible a gym that teaches a little of all three.
You are not worthy of mating if you’re afraid or incapable of protecting your loved ones.
Provide: The silverback determines when and where the troop will eat, the silverback teaches the young how to survive and what is safe to eat, teaches the young how to fight, he gives of himself for the betterment of the troop.
As should you as a man, give of yourself. Unlike many on this forum I believe the man pays for the first date, if for nothing else it’s a mating signal that you are capable of providing.
You should be seeking ways to advance your income always, and taking your career seriously.
If you feel like she is worth it is at your discretion but if you’re a man you should be capable of providing for yourself and others. Once in a while on a group activity cover the tab for everyone. This is not only a kind gesture it asserts dominance. If you are in a relationship, or marriage your income should be able to cover the bills. I’m not saying pay all the bills if you’re woman works. I’m saying your woman’s income should be extra in the pot and you should be able to cover everything if neccessary.

Get your ass in the gym, learn how to defend yourself and loved ones, go get you some damn money!
