Are Sugar Daddy sites for real or a scam?

I'm 66 and recently divorced mainly because I wanted to continue having sex and my ex did not so she let herself go to discourage my desire. The way I see it, my chances of finding a woman remotely my age that wants sex as much as I do is pretty slim. I don't believe they exist. I am in excellent shape, look 40's, act and feel 20's. Anyone here play the "Sugar" game? What other options do I have?

It's basically prostitution except with a lot of unnecessary ambiguity thrown in. I suppose the "plausible deniability" aspect of it may appeal to some men (and make it unlikely for one to be prosecuted as a john) but at the end of the day, it is what it is. Also, from what I understand, some "sugar babies" will try to string you along and get some money without providing the requisite "services", so in that sense it can be a scam. It's not like you can sue them like you would sue a plumber who took a deposit but failed to fix your toilet. Potential legal issues aside, it would seem that escorts are a more straightforward and honesty option.

Thanks for offering your take on the subject. I have not really given it much consideration as a legitimate option but since they are out their continuing to function then I figured they may have some merit. My dilemma is I do believe that I would be most compatible with women around my age but their interest in seamed to have sex among them has waned long ago. Much younger women that do still have some resemblance of a libido don't seam to have much interest in dating me (at lease on the dating sites like Bumble and Hinge where my age is advertised). I may have better luck in person like bars, clubs, dances, etc. because I look, act, and feel much younger that I am. However my schedule is not very kind to that lifestyle. I own and operate 2 businesses, work out at the gym 3 times a week, keep up with my house and yard, go to bed by 9 and get up at 5 every day. Do you have any input on a strategy for my situation?

Thank for that testimony. I'm sure it's not cheap but neither is conventional dating. Getting depressed is a choice he made and sounds like he had little or no emotional discipline. But the fact he did try it for a year and had some success says something that it could work if played correctly.

Since they are paid company, you should compare it with prostitution, not with conventional dating, because it is a form of prostitution.

Getting depressed is a choice he made and sounds like he had little or no emotional discipline.

Getting emotionally attached to sex workers can be depressing. It's a risk that happens to a lot of wh0remongers. That risk increases when the prostitution and *****monger is a pretend relationship with emotional attachment, as with 'sugar babies'.

This forum is intended for socially awkward men to learn how to interact with women. Other members here have been told not to discuss prostitution or virtual sex workers, since paying for sex has nothing to do with 'seduction'. I am amazed that the moderators haven't shut down this thread, but expect that to happen at any time now.

I would have thought since they are somewhat popular that there would be some members here that had some experience with using those sites. I don't think there is anything wrong with this thread. I suppose we'll see. Sometimes I have a hard time differentiating between prostitution and conventional dating. I mean we spend Money out the wazoo wining and dining a woman in hopes of getting some. Women on dating site look for income levels over 100K or they don't give the time of day. What do you call that? I certainly am not advocating or supporting what is illegal but dating today appears to me to be a whole new ballgame. I'm just trying to learn the new rules.

The way I look at it no deal is better than a bad deal and you have to walk away if it is not right. Weather it be with wife, girlfriend, prostitute, employer/employee, car dealer etc. Read "The Art of the Deal" I guess you gotta think with the right "head" to score the best deal. I am curious as to know if you have had experienced this personally or know of a lot of guys that found this information out first hand? How did you come by this information?
