I know a dude who got into a relationship with a (hot) 23 y.o when he was 42. Got a kid. He is 47 ,kid is 5 and she cheated on him.

He particularly stated how hard and exhausting it is to be almost 50 and "run and climb trees " on a daily.
That makes sense. It would be difficult for men in their 40s/early 50s to keep up with a child who is under age 12. I can't imagine being almost 50 and trying to keep up with a 5-10 year old.

I said many times that I know this dude who is about to transfer his Pina gf to Europe at age ..41 now. Same scenario. Before she is actually pregnant and gives birth he might be easily around 43/44. First child at 44... I am not even talking about attraction game ect( which in his case is non existent)

I keep saying that after 40 (and perhaps even 30/35) a man must accept certain things. What the F you've been doing from age 15 / 30? That's right. Chilling. Relaxing. Sleeping. Gaming. Jerking. Own your decision making. You can't become a pro boxer at 35...equally, love and kids are a young man's game.

A lotta men seem to have a mental disability when it's about making good decisions about the role a woman must have in their lives.

For me, the Great Recession hit when I was 24-25. I was deeply affected by the Great Recession.

A lot of older Millennials (late 30s-early 40s) were deeply affected by the late 2000s/early 2010s recessionary period and it permanently altered their course of the lives. The Great Recession affected Millennials more than any other generation.

When the Great Recession hit, a lot of Boomers were close to retirement already or were already deep into their careers. Most of them didn't lose their jobs circa 2010 and if they did, they elected to take a slightly earlier retirement.

Many Gen X'ers were pretty well established in careers by 2008. The oldest X'ers in 2008 were late 30s/early 40s. A lot of Gen X'ers had the good fortune of being able to establish their careers during the economically strong years in the 1990s.

Gen Z was in the midst of elementary school in 2008.

Millennials were the new grads or early stage layoffs in the late 2000s/early 2010s. This was something that affected their SMVs since money and status are key variables in SMV.

In the late 2000s/early 2010s, many 20 something Millennial men were struggling and often living with their parents. That affected their ability to form longer term relationships and delay family formation.

I got laid the most at my lowest points in life, so I will make the argument that it’s actually easier.
Some people can do this and that's amazing.

Most men need a job and money in order to get laid. A lot of men's SMV's are tied to their economic prospects. That's why it is difficult for many men to get laid while unemployed and/or living with their parents. If a White male has a corporate-ish look, then women are going to expect him to have a job in order to spread their legs for him. Men who don't look like corporate drones have an advantage here.

I recommend that men try not to look corporate so that women don't judge them on their economic prospects.

Getting laid while unemployed and/or living with parents is an achievement.

Same for me. Ive concluded
that its because a man with nothing will compensate for the lack of "other shyte" in his life. That's why Pookie/rayray will eventually be "successful ". Once you climb up you will (have to) up your standards and thus getting a suitable woman becomes more challenging.

Men act as if all women are angels. When you were at your lowest point, maybe they were too..I mean. How respectful is it to have a bf who has an air matras in a 2 by 2 room and plays ps3 all day?

I don't have to tell you that the lofe of a Pookie is full of stress and pain. That's why we leveling up

same for me (although in hindsight it was more a matter of me being super into 'game' at the time and so was approaching so many girls! Thus increasing my odds of finding a girl who was attracted to me)

But yeah when I was at my most 'loserish' (no job, no car and living with parents despite being well into my 20's) is when I was getting laid a sh1t tonne lol

I'm curious, SW15 - how do you suggest a guy avoids the corporate look if he's in professional white-collar employment?

I'd like to know that too.

There's a bit of a look that goes along with professional white-collar employment.

Men with professional white-collar jobs have the following look....
  • Short to medium length hair
  • Clean shaven or very neat facial hair
  • Few to no visible tattoos. Certain tattoos will affect corporate white-collar employment.
In romantic interactions, the corporate look tells women to expect that a guy has professional white-collar employment and to judge his SMV by that.

I thought about this for a few minutes after reading it, and I couldn't remember a specific instance where a woman asked why.

If it gets to the point where a woman is asking about my place, it's usually because we're figuring out the logistics of where we're going to f***, and me telling them I live at home isn't so much of a dealbreaker as it is a speed bump. I'm always honest when asked, and I can't think of a time when it's done worse than create some minor disappointment (the plate I had over Friday couldn't come over when she wanted because my parents were still up enjoying their night, for example, and I couldn't go to hers because she's in the same situation as me).

I think it's less of an issue with post-grad women because they understand and are in the same situation - most of the plates and women I've been with are still living at home too. I think this makes them a bit more forgiving, especially in the current economy.
Honestly I cannot recall a single woman I banged that has lived at home with her parents.

I will assume you live in an expensive part of the country?

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

This is the first girl I've dated that hasn't lived with her parents or didn't start out. My previous exes had rich parents and just didn't move out.

The key here is to give out the weekend warrior corporate vibe or just have a life/personality. If you put out the boring safe beta male corporate vibe then you will struggle like every other boring safe beta male in any industry.

Not really, I'm in suburban Delaware.

Off the top of my head I can only think of 3 women in recent memory that had their own place. I just think it's more a byproduct of the job market being trash than it is everything else being expensive.

NO offense but that sounds like excuses to me. The recission was ****ty for all of us I lost my crappy retail job at the time right before I signed a new lease for an apartment, somehow someway I paid the rent and never got kicked out.

TO many men in this generation are soft sorry it is what it is. When I grew up I hated my dad for being so fuccing hard on me, but now I'm thankful AF. I see what my friends go through raised by single mothers, and the stress their baby momma put them through etc. My dad was an ******* and was tough one me but because of that during those tough times and by the grace of God not myself I came back tougher. Now That I'm older I understand why so many men fail and it's because they are soft

TO many weak men crying about women, if they think it's hard now 2025 is going to be brutal for them, for guys who are on their shyt it's going to be fun.

The late 2000s/early 2010s recessionary period was lousy for a lot of people.

I managed to survive it.

In the paragraph that you quoted, I did not talk about my own struggles during that period. They were bad. I don't want to talk about them right now.

I have sympathy for the 1981-1987 young adults of the that recessionary period because it did set a lot of us back big time.

I'm in suburban Delaware.

Off the top of my head I can only think of 3 women in recent memory that had their own place. I just think it's more a byproduct of the job market being trash than it is everything else being expensive.
Delaware is a part of the Northeastern USA. The Northeastern USA as a whole is expensive. New York, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington DC are known to be expensive cities. People leave the Northeastern for Southern parts of the USA because they are somewhat less expensive.

Delaware is a bit overlooked in that region because of its small size. Delaware sits in the shadow of bigger cities like Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington DC. The better opportunities in that region go to those bigger cities.

There are parts of the USA that don't have a strong local economy regardless of national/global economic conditions. Delaware might be a place that has a weak local economy in general. There might not be a lot of opportunity there. I could buy the idea that Delaware's local job is trash.

In Dallas, Texas, most of the single women have their own places in the more desirable neighborhoods of Central Dallas.

There's a bit of a look that goes along with professional white-collar employment.

Your response is good. If you have an interesting personality as a white collar worker, it's possible that women will have less expectations on your SMV to be employed. I still think that if you look white collar, women are going to have the expectation that you're employed and going to judge more of your SMV on your job. Having interesting hobbies outside of work can help reduce that burden so you and I are somewhat aligned on ideology here.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

I got lucky, graduated in 2015 with a decent job market. Landed my current job during the post pandemic hiring boom after quitting mine. I’ll go in to how I hit a slump and still managed to date later though.

Once you hit bottom, you are in quicksand and it’s hard to get up. As bad as the recession was, there was a least a happy ending in sight. With the current trajectory of the country, it looks like you are screwed. I know too many people that have had to make more than like permanent life adjustments. If I would’ve quit my job a mere 3-4 months later, my whole life could be completely different for the worse.

2015 was a decent year to graduate. It was not in the midst of a recession.

There was a briefly good job market in 2021-early 2022 too. So many people changed jobs around then. 2023-2024 have been total crap for the white collar job market.

Two really bad years to graduate were 2008 and 2009. The Classes of 2008 and 2009 got a shiit sandwich when they graduated from either undergraduate or graduate schools those years.

If I would’ve quit my job a mere 3-4 months later, my whole life could be completely different for the worse.
Timing is everything. You were fortunate to be under 18 when the late 2000s/early 2010s recessionary period was happening. People closer to my age got royally fuccked with that.

Anyone in the job market in 2023 and 2024 for a white collar job is not having a pleasant experience. The current white collar job market is every bit as bad as late 2000s/early 2010s right now. All the job growth right now is in McJobs and blue collar.

How important is p**sy eating when it comes to sex anyway? I personally don't eat because it's disgusting, but some people even eat the other hole, which is even worse considering what comes out of there.
